Arroyo or West need to start over Rondo, he is a huge liability.

If Rondo isnt attacking/penetrating or taking care of the ball, what exactly is his use on the floor? He is a terrible offensive player and is a liability on that end of the floor.

We need shooters, West is a better player then Rondo at this point.

Maybe rondo needs a couple of weeks off. He is completely disinterested.

The irony of it is that if he plays cruddy, his trade value is low, if he plays well, his trade value is high.  But then we don't want to trade him....

Rondo will be fine, he's just going through a bad stretch.
Celtics fan for life.

I think we can all agree our senior slide is officially in progress, see you guys at the 3 seed! Thank god we proved last year that this team doesn't need HCA to win it all though, right?  ::)

why cant Doc let Arroyo play?
it was very clear Rondo is having a terrible day.
cant even blame rondo, blame Doc for keeping him in  the game costing us this win.

Yes, it looks like he's on drugs. I'm not even joking or "trolling." I'm being serious. If you watch when he's on the bench, the kid looks high.

we shouldn't look too far into this lost... like the bucks yesterday,, this team just isn't good on back to backs. onto the next game.

Rondo needs to be benched, period.

If he can't play his game for whatever reason, he has to be called out by Doc.

I blame Doc for this loss as well.

I couldn't agree more. Watching him take pull up j's when the game is on the line with Ray, Big Baby and PP on the floor is just...I don't even have the words.

  • It's not hard to work hard.
Celtics shot the ball better, played better defense, hit the glass better, and moved the ball better.

Nets took almost 3x as many freethrows and hit 9 more threes.

Pretty frustrating loss, but none of that says 'lazy' or 'effort'. That kind of posting is lazy, imho.

Bad loss but you can take some real positives out of this game.

1. Davis is back and did well
2. The new guys got another game under the belt, hopefully getting everyone comfortable with each other
3. ummm... yeah that's all I got.

I wouldn't bench Rondo just cause that would be the wrong decision. I would limit his minutes, maybe even below 25 a game to give him a rest. West will be back Wednesday and that will cut into someone's minutes.

the celtics effort on defense was poor. they continued to allow the nets to have wide open looks and they let them get multiple shots each time down.

Not trying to hear this excuse tonight. NJ is 3 hours away from Boston, and the starters rested the ENTIRE 4th quarter last night. And on top of that? They are the NETS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! The whole back to back excuse is lame.
