I like the trade too. Think it will look a lot better in another month. These guys are essentially having training camp before our eyes, so it's understandably not going to look fluid at first, but Krstic is already proving to be so much more than the near throw in that everybody thought he'd be. Green is about as expected.
It's just awfully hard to try to evaluate this for a good 'nother month. If both are still with the team next year, after a training camp, then this is a clear win. As for this year, depends on whether the team as a whole can gel in time for the playoffs. That was the big gamble, but talent-wise, I think we're clearly better.
If after another month, the defense is still shaky, then it'll probably not seem like such a good gamble for this year.
