Your NBA top 10 all time

Scottie Pippen was on ESPN and he said that Kobe is already in his top 5 of all time with Bird and Magic. It got me thinking, who is in your top ten of all time?

Trust me, I'm not any happier about Kobe at #7 than anybody else.  But I'm trying to be objective about it.

I go back and forth on the order (longevity vs peak?) but my top six/seven guys are:

Big Men - Kareem, Russell and Wilt
Forwards - Bird
Guards - Magic, Jordan and Oscar(?)

I am not sure who my next three guys would be.

Kobe Bryant isn't one of them though + LeBron James will likely end up being there before his career is over. I'd probably go with Shaq and Duncan for two for one of those final three spots.

It's difficult for me to construct a legit top ten.  My first hand experience watching basketball only started in the late 80's, so many of the legends that are requisites on the "all time" list played before my time.  It's weird for me to put somebody on the list without having seen them actually play and going on their legend alone.  There's no doubt Russell, Cous, Wilt, Kareem and the like deserve to be on there, but I'm going to put my 1985 and after NBA top 10

I will say that I've always felt Jordan was overated.  Yes one of top 5 ever, great great player.  But far too many people believed the nike commercials.
