Wow, didn't realize his knee injury was that serious. So Danny basically traded four injured players (Perk, Semih, Nate, Quis) for four healthy ones? Not bad. I know, it's not that simple...but still we came out looking pretty good in this deal.

It explains partly why Nate sucked all season long... and confirms that Danny just got the best of the Thunder in the trade, at least in the short term. Nicely done.

Maybe people on here should not be throwing people into the dog house here so quickly?

First Von Wafer, then he starts to perform well and gets the system.

Nate knee injury.

Baby strained patella tendon that was bothering him.

We expect more from these guys, but it's tough for me to criticize them to the extent some others do when we don't know exactly what is the reason they're playing bad.

By the way, I don't understand the rule(s) on trades and injured players. I thought you couldn't trade injured players (because you can't in NBA 2K :P) and I remember the Wolves asked for an investigation this summer because Webster was injured when they acquired him. Anyones knows what's up with this situation?

Perk was out when the C's traded him.  So I honestly don't know.  Good question though.

There have been reports all year that he was dealing a variety of injuries.

Given his poor shooting compared to his past performance I'd say he was injured while playing for the C's. Could just be a chronic ailment that the Thunder wanted him to clean up since he didn't figure in their rotation.

This is all I could find on it:

Quote
OKLAHOMA CITY — Oklahoma City Thunder guard Nate Robinson will miss four to six weeks after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his right knee.

Thunder general manager Sam Presti said Friday that Robinson first experienced discomfort in the knee after practice on Monday.

Presti says the Thunder's medical team and Robinson decided surgery was the best option "to resolve the issue with certainty." The team says the surgery was successful.

Oklahoma City acquired the 5-foot-9 Robinson on Feb. 24 in a trade with the Boston Celtics. Robinson made his debut for the Thunder on Wednesday, scoring six points in eight minutes.
