our players going on strike as a sign of the protest of the trade is one of the stupidest and farfetched theories i've ever read.

Right.  Just old guys on a long west-coast road trip.

Well, Krstic looks good. Hopefully he stays out of foul trouble in the future.

Some folks desperately want to believe that their favorite players feel exactly they way they do about the trade, which is not going to prove to be the case.

Time will take care of these issues.

Rondo is on strike. Showing up Danny Ainge for making that Trade. His Besties is gone.

lol what...I hope that's a joke. You really think Rondo would purposely play badly because his friend got traded? That's insane.

He hasn't been the same since the trade. Either a hangover from losing his best Friend or he is not a STAR in the NBA.   Eric Bledsoe is outplaying him, and Ty Lawson schooled him on Thursday.

Well no one played well on Thursday, they had 9 players. (Well 7 real players, beacuse who's counting Chris Johnson or Bradley?)

KG is 1-7 for the game are you gunna say the same thing about him? Or Pierce?

I wish Krstic was on the same team as Antoine. He could have showed him a thing or two about the up-fake.

And will everyone stop bringing up Perk playing or not playing? Its really not about whether he plays or not. Completely different knowing your starting center/good friend is injured vs traded to a team halfway across the country and knowing you will more than likely never play with him again. I think most of you really don't realize the type of chemistry this team had and how important it was. The chemistry is one of the things that made other teams fear us.

KG,PP and Ray had closer friends traded away in the past and didnt affect them that much. you are clearly looking for something just so you can say "i told you so". even before perk was traded this kind of play was sometimes seen. cleveland game, bobcats game etc.

I'm looking for something just so I can say "I told you so"? What exactly would I be getting out of that? ::) I would love to be wrong.

jumping to conclusions about the trade with only half the game over? lol.. instead of supportig the team at a tough time like this, or welcoming new members and supporting them in acclimating with the celts all they get is as if these guys arent mentally tough and danny screwed up, the sky is falling etc.

Supportive does not equal blindly accepting everything the FO does. Though it may not seem like it, I'm happy that Green and Kristic are here but I will NOT ignore what I see going on.

Do you think if we put a cardboard cutout of Perk in a suit on the bench that the guys would start playing harder?
The cutout would probably be a better defender than most of the centers in the league so I think it's worth a shot actually

I think the celts will win this game, but I had to make one comment. I keep reading the celts are getting jobbed by the refs. They have taken 21 free throws to 8 for the clippers  :o

Messing up the chemistry wasn't worth it...I've been trying to convince myself that this was a great trade but I can't anymore. Should have never traded Perk. Team would have been fine even if he sat on the bench for the rest of the season. Kristic seems cool and all but...you can't reinvent the chemistry that starting five had. You just cannot.

You've been trying but you can't anymore? After what? Not even a full game with our new guys?

Gimme a break . ::)

Yeah...you really don't get it.

I get it. Perk has been here for the entire big 3 era and the starting 5 has fostered chemistry that can't be replaced in the short term. Chemistry is important, it brings out the best of the players and it gives our guys an edge on the floor. But guess what, what has happened already happened. You can't turn back time. Perk is out, in comes Green and Kristic. How do you know that the new guys won't form better chemistry? Please, you are comparing half a game of sample size to 3 years. Is that fair?

Have some patience.

I understand what you're saying but unfortunately we don't have 3 yrs to gel with these guys. We have 3 months. Our goal is a championship in June of 2011.

But fortunately these guys are more talented than Perk, which will make up for the "lack of chemistry".
