I will ask a single question:

Is this team done??

Rondo , Delonte, Bradley
Ray, Parker, Wafer
Pierce, Green,
KG, Davis, Powe, JO
Shaq, Murphy, Kristic

Because thats the smell i am feeling from the kitchen.

I don't like the trade.

I think it hurts the Celtics chances more  then it helps.

But ends the Celtics chances?

No, once I get over the initial disbelief and see some of these other C's return, I will probably again say the Celtics are going to win a ring.

Please tell me who from this roster will and can defend against Dwight and Bynum?

And who else is available in the free agency department that can fill in Perks shoes!?

Nobody can in the league is better to replace Perks. No one.

So sorry to us guys. No more banner 18 this year. Let's all just go home.
YOU can go home. i'll stay and watch this team go deep into the playoffs. come one people. you guys act like DA traded away Bill freaking Russell.

i get what you're saying about lack of size right now. let's wait and see what type of buyouts DA brings in before we pass judgement.

People are so rediculous and negative on here.  This team is done???  4 all stars and we are done.  When healthy we are still the best team in the league and that is b4 any other signings.  I love Perk as much as anyone else.  Was he my favorite C? No, but I loved his intensity and D.  The way this league is going there are not may legit Centers.  DHoward is a monster but he can not win games by himself.  The Magic do not have the talent to stay with us.  I still think we are better then Miami and when we fill out our bench and get the O'neals back we are still better then the rest.  Of course health is key and the only way we will number 18 is if we are healthy.  But that is the case in any season.

As for the deal I love Jeff Green and always have.  He has the athletic ability to be a very good defender and on this team he has not choice but to play defense.  My biggest worry is chemistry.  I feel that 25 games is more then enought time to develop it and it's not like we need to develop chemistry amongst our startes since when Shaq comes back it is still the same.  Our bench has been overhauled and we now will have the firepower to not have any let downs and can actually rest PP.  I do agree that if Marquis was not hurt we would not have made any moves.  I feel we are just as good now and will be better for the future.

Thanks Perk for the great 8 years and I wish you luck exept when you play us.

I don't even see how it "hurts" us in the short term chemistry wise. We were hurt anyways with Shaq and Perkins out for 3-4 more games. Our bench has been awful pretty much all year, but the starters are so blindingly good that we've been winning in spite of it.

Guys we are getting Jeff Green, be happy.
his number where Deflated in OKC w/ Durant playing the 4.
This team will be like the 08' team in the final stretch of their games, KG at the 5 and Green at the 4 ala James Posey x10. This kids got game!

I am fine with the trade, stunned yes but I am fine with it!!
And it should get even better via buy-outs!
