Semih was home because his mother was sick, and is still injured. The fact that he _had_ to play despite all this shows how thin we are at center at this point. That's the main reason why none of our big men are going anywhere before the end of this season.
I couldn't remember if she had passed away, or was sick, but it clearly was something pretty serious.
I like Semih. He's not going to be a star, but I don't want to see them give him away. He's shown himself to be a rotation-caliber player despite all of the challenges he's faced so far (health, language, cultural, and simply being a rookie). He's not immovable, but you aren't giving him away from a guy like Anthony Parker. He's got a decent touch, he's pretty mobile for a big man, and the fact that KG seems to love him.... I mean, that's got to tell you something about his hard work and dedication.
