Interesting ... hard to figure what we'd get in return ... it must be in terms of something more extensive/bigger trade-wise. ???

Not necessarily. The salaries of Charlie Bell or Dorell Wright match up with Nate's. If it's for Wright I say we must do it! But I don't understand why GS would trade Wright for Nate.

Odd.  What would be getting back?  Hopefully not Charlie Bell.

Vlad Rad, maybe?

Space Cadet? And I thought you liked Bell?

I'll keep my fingers crossed for a Reggie Williams rental. He's an unrestricted F.A. at the end of the season.

I mean, Vlad Rad's defense already helped us win one ring.

Very nice, TP.

I think the obvious Warriors piece would be Murphy, although it'd have to be jiggered to make the salaries work I believe.  I don't think there's any way they move Wright for Nate, or even Nate and a 1st, with the year he's having.  And I sure hope we're not doing this just to get Bell, he won't help us at the wing.

EDIT:  Does GS still have the rights to Mikki Moore?   :P

Well, Bell is a good pick for the 13th round (or whatever round it was) in the CB draft.  He's an okay shooter, and is a good defender.

However, he's 6'3", and doesn't do anything to alleviate our gaping hole at SF.  Also, he doesn't have the PG skills that Nate (as amazing as that is).

I still think that we should not trade Nate just yet. Everyone said he would play his best ball with Delonte healthy in the second unit. I'm not ready to give up on someone who can win us a game in the playoffs unless it is for an upgrade.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

He hasn't looked particularly good playing alongside Rondo.

Maybe they're getting rid of one of them.  I'll take Stephen Curry. ;D

Interesting idea: trade for Murphy, rather than risk him going elsewhere via buyout.

Tough to see how salaries might match. Daniels plus Nate is still shy, and I don't see how GState takes back JO's extra year in the deal.

Nate, Baby and JO

for

Murphy

works.  Gets us out of those two contracts, and gives us a replacement for baby.

Murphy is a better shooter, and rebounder, but Baby is a great team defender in our system.

I don't see any great fits for the C's on the GS roster, but perhaps it is part of a bigger deal.

I wonder if Ainge is trying to shoehorn into the Nets' deal for Williams.

I was thinking the same thing.
