Even taking out Deron Williams, I don't see the major appeal of coming to Boston.
Sure, Rondo would make a nice pair with him, but what else is there?
Pierce, at that point, will be 35. Furthermore, while I know people have these fantasies of KG and Ray re-signing here for minimum deals, I a) don't see that happening, and b) don't see that mattering. I don't see Dwight wanting to sign a long term deal that's partly predicated on relying on superstars in their late '30s to support him.
As I've said before, I'd love to be wrong. I just don't see it happening.
