Looks like Bosh will be with our 4 in the second unit, thought it was going to be Dwight?

 >:(

Bosh? That's terrible! Doc could at least put Joe Johnson out there since he used to be a celtic. WHo cares if KG plays center and Pierce PF, it's the all star game.

i just want to address those saying "Rondo + Dwight = not contender because what would we surround them with".

Well, the same can be said about Miami with Lebron+Wade+Bosh+who are they surrounding them with. And they look like title contenders to me.

and remember that KG-Allen-Pierce in 07 was faced with similar questions are they were surrounded by the still-maturing Rondo, the unproven Perkins and guys we got off FA for cheap like Posey and House and PJ Brown and Sam Cassell.

If we get Rondo, Dwight and an old Pierce, we will attract FA's. FA's like... James Jones or Matt Barnes or these other specialized role players we don't know the names of yet. The Joe Smiths of the world are plenty and they will be there in 2012.

i don't think the Knicks can sign anyone else once they've traded for Melo and given him the extension, and i don't think the Nets can sign anyone else either if they've traded for Melo and given him the contract extension. They can trade for a guy like CP3 but i don't think they can snap him up c/o free agency.

C's coach Doc Rivers admitted there was some body language in the East All-Star meeting that some guys might not want to talk to others. Doc: "The guy I felt sorry for was Dwight [Howard]. He didn’t have a teammate... so I sat by Dwight and just talked to him."

Chris Forsberg on twitter.

Doc has just been huge for this franchise.  I underestimated him his first couple of years here, but he is absolutely the right guy for these times and we are blessed to have him here.  Thank you, Danny!
