Nets have the Celtics number, they are just too good for us.

4 points (1-2 from the field, 2-2 from the line), 3 assists

But in all seriousness, I think we all knew this was going to be a tough game. Playing right before the All-Star break is always hard. Lets hope our guys hold on strong for two more quarters.

This is no offense to you, ejk, but I have to confess that I'm tired of the litany of excuses attributed to these guys -- "it's the game before the all-star break," "it's the second night of a back-to-back," "their last game two days ago was tough," "their shorts are too tight." If the C's are gonna keep making excuses, and keep turning in poor efforts against crap teams, they may as well just forfeit these games -- at least then no one would get hurt, and everyone would get plenty of rest (though that would take away some of their excuses).

Well I understand that, I'm not trying to make excuses for them or anything. I still expect them to win, I'm just saying these are usually close, hard fought games. (as well as the back to backs, like you said)

Ugh, and as I say that NJ goes on a 7-0 run .

Brook Lopez is dominant.

Did anyone expect otherwise?

Plenty of days off, all-star break coming up = recipie for disaster for the C's.
