You know, I should've known it was too good to be true when the C's jumped out to an 8-0 lead -- they rarely start that well, regardless of the opponent. And true to form, they're stinkin' it up against a crappy team, again.

It seems playing D against the Nets is harder than Miami.. 

We've given minutes to Harangody, who is a nice -8.

Lakers are down 2 to the cavs right now. Can you imagine the cavs breaking the loosing streak against LA?

They already broke the streak against the Clips.

It could be worse I guess...at least we aren't down 5 to the Cavaliers right now (*coughLakerscough*).

But in all seriousness, I think we all knew this was going to be a tough game. Playing right before the All-Star break is always hard. Lets hope our guys hold on strong for two more quarters.

The starters started checking out with a 10 to 14 lead, they come back in its a 5 point game, they didn't immediately  take back the game but that's the nature of basketball. If you let a team get rhythm they become dangerous.

Harris vs. Nate and Lopez vs. Baby gave us fits.  That 3-pt play for Ross was especially aggravating. 

Offensively, Perk isn't finishing anything off for us.

This is no offense to you, ejk, but I have to confess that I'm tired of the litany of excuses attributed to these guys -- "it's the game before the all-star break," "it's the second night of a back-to-back," "their last game two days ago was tough," "their shorts are too tight." If the C's are gonna keep making excuses, and keep turning in poor efforts against crap teams, they may as well just forfeit these games -- at least then no one would get hurt, and everyone would get plenty of rest (though that would take away some of their excuses).
