Over the past 11 games, Kyle Lowry:
33 Mins, 61.11 TS%, 49% FG, 41% 3pt, 17.3 pts, 7.1 ast, 3.7 TRB, 1.8 TO
Kyle Lowry, y'all!
So what you are saying is that he has almost the same stats as Mo Williams has since joining the Clippers
16.8 PPG, 7.6 APG, 2.3 SPG, 38% 3PTFG%
Being the Pick 2 owner of Mo Williams....Kyle Lowry's stats don't impress me. In today's game it makes him a top 15 PG, no more, no less.
Sorry IP.
Mo Williams:
38% shooting on 15 attempted FG's per contest as a clipper, 48% TS%, 37.5% from 3, 2.8 TO's per contest
Kyle Lowry:
49% shooting on 13 FG's attempted per game over last 11 as a Rocket, 61% TS%, 41% from 3, 1.8 TO's per game.
That 61% TS number puts him 3rd in the among PG's right behind Billups and Nash. Over the last 11 games he has a turnover ratio of 7.9 (good for 3rd in the league among PG's behind Eddie House, Lou Williams), his assist ratio is good for 10th in the league, and he's a plus defender.
Kyle Lowry, Y'all!
EDIT: Lowry's biggest flaws (fouls too much, poor outside shooter, at least according to John "Jumbalya" Hollinger) have also been addressed this season, and in the last 11 games in particular. He's shooting a career high in 3pt FG's per contest this year (37% in 4.0 3pt FGA's on the year, 41% in 6.5 3pt FGA's per contest the last 11 games), and his personal fouls per 48 mins is at the lowest point of his career (down from 5.5 last season to 4.0 this season).
I wonder if how many GMs that hated my team because "Jeff Green is a PF. He is to slow to play SF" think now that he is now a Celtic SF in real life?
I still don't like him starting at the 3, due to his streaky shot from long range, but I'm feeling better about it than I was.
