After enough hemming and hawing and a number of line-up suggestions from fellow GMs, here's the final San Antonio
Spur(ned) roster.
Draft 2-2011: SA Spur(ned):
PG: Jason Kidd
SG: Manu Ginobili
SF: Rip Hamilton
PF: Chris Kaman
C: Tim Duncan

Bench: Al Harrington, Hakim Warrick,
Brad Miller, Carlos Arroyo, Andres Nocioni, Marquis Daniels, DeSagana Diop

How is your rotation going to work on the bench? WHo gets the most minutes?

1)   Minnesota

I think your definition needs some work.  I love my boy Rondo2287, but there absolutely was no "clear coherent plan for success" with that team. ;)

I do agree, though, that Minnesota improved themselves tremendously from their real team, even if they did downgrade a bit from their Pick 2 height.

Also, you continue to be wrong about Rashard Lewis.  He's better as a SF than as a PF, and I think his success at the 3 in Washington has showed that.

Haha...well Minnesota to me took the most steps forward from their current position. Pick 2 Success is like profanity and good diner food...you know it when you see it.

With injuries turned off, I've got Utah taking this division.

Eh, if they did it wouldn't be by a country mile or anything. It'd be very close between Portland and Utah..because Perkins/ Mo Williams would be around all season too.

If we say his name one more time, he appears in your house to wear handbands, take low percentage shots and pretend he's a better player and leader than he actually is. I prefer Candy Man..at least then you get to meet Tony Todd and get a swift death.

How is your rotation going to work on the bench? WHo gets the most minutes?
Oh sure, ask for details.  now my perfect plan falls to pieces   ;)

Approximate minutes:
Kidd, Duncan and Kaman about 34 minutes each.
Warrick and Miller about 14 each to cover Kaman and Duncan.
Ginobili about 30.
Hamilton and Harrington about 26 each.
Quisy and Arroyo about 14 each.
Nocioni and Diop when needed.

Here my conception of how this plays out.
The goal is to keep the team fresh without having to go 12 deep to do it although all 12 can contribute when on the floor.

Rotate Warrick and Miller in for Kaman and Duncan to get the best matchups.

Rotate Harrington in with Manu and Rip as my heavy-rotation wings with Quisy getting some time as a prime defender off the bench.  Also, Quisy can play some PG for certain matchups that play to my advantage instead of using Arroyo.
I can go small and fast with a line-up of Kidd, Rip, Manu, Al and Duncan/Kaman for limited minutes depending on the matchups.

The advantage of the team is I have a lot of guys that can score so no team can expect to constantly cheat off anyone on D.  This is particularly true of my starting line-up and why I started that line-up.  Each of the starters can play respectable if not very good D and so can most of the players off the bench.  The bench has a number of guys that can play multiple positions which offers the opportunity to throw a lot of different looks at the opposition.

Yeah, Mo Williams took LeBron James's leaving pretty hard.

Apparently Mo Williams had no idea that "abruptly leaving without any prior hints to go play with Dwyane Wade" was one of fifty ways to leave your lover.

I just love that CDR's response is pretty much exactly what I would've tweeted.

It's like if Batman went to play with Superman in the Justice League and Robin realized he was actually Arthur from the Tick.

LeBron?

That's going to make for some interesting team chemistry on the Fake Blazers, at least.
