That's how to close a quarter. Celts win that one by 12. Hopefully doc stays away from the 5-man bench unit.

Nate made a great decision there to pass the ball to Rondo. If he hadn't, we would have gotten a turnover rather than a Paul Pierce dunk.

Anyone else notice Evans being charitable to Rondo and letting him pick up that mishandled dribble?  Bizarre (shoulda been a foul before as well.)

when the buzzer sounded, you could hear Pierce shouting "hell yea!" or something like that. he's gotten pretty pumped about this game as well.

Outscored them by 11 in the third quarter, not bad. Now lets see if the bench can keep the lead. Gunna be tough with Nate running the point.

  • It's not hard to work hard.
Even with the horseshoe up Cousins' butt the Celts put the clamps on in that quarter. Keep it up and we'll take this one home.
McHale's favorite ruse is putting paper in the mouths of sleeping teammates. "Try using one of these cocktail napkins," he said. "When just the edge sticks out of a guy's mouth, it looks like he's got fangs. The best part is when he wakes up."

Can't wait for the day we can say

"Second unit is gonna come out strong with Delonte at point."
Andy Bernard doesnt lose constests. He wins them, or he quits them because they're unfair.

i think he was avoiding the foul. if he dove for it, Rondo would've surely hit the deck as well. and the foul would've likely been called on him. 2 free throws plus giving the C's a 2 for 1

the key there is that Rondo was on the floor with Nate
