Ok seriously though, why isn't Rondo in right now?

Edit: not that Nate isn't playing ok now, just wondering if Rondo is hurt. Unusual for him not to close out games.

3-1 west coast trip. I'll take it. Nate's offense still MIA, but five steals tonight and great hustle. He deserves the Tommy award tonight

Solid second half by the C's after a pretty awful second quarter.

Nice win, had a feeling they would pull it out even though they played like crap the first half. 3-1 west coast trip with a win against the Lakers is more than I could have hoped for.

TP's for all!

I think Doc saw how well Nate was doing defensively and saw the lead and just said, heck, why not give Rondo some rest.

Nate played great d tonight

well said, he's struggling with his shot, but he's playing Celtic defense. Shooting will be back sooner or later, but he deserves the minutes. And Baby is playing great, too.

Rondo9, you have mail

Edit: Great Win!! (something's up with my ADSL)

  • It's not hard to work hard.
toldja.

Celts allowed 36 points in the second half. 36! And that's with 5 kings points in the last minute that were largely uncontested.
McHale's favorite ruse is putting paper in the mouths of sleeping teammates. "Try using one of these cocktail napkins," he said. "When just the edge sticks out of a guy's mouth, it looks like he's got fangs. The best part is when he wakes up."

More than likely still here. lol I loved the way Nate played tonight. Seems to play better with Paul and KG. Good win. Loved Pierce do the nail in the coffin after his signature step back. Also hopefully it will be 5 Celtics in the all star game

Rondo
Ray
Pierce
KG
and DOC!!!

Shaq's just old, he was performing way above his performance last year. Breaking down as the season goes is my guess.

Hopefully at some point the C's can rest him for a couple of weeks before the playoffs, get some freshness in his legs for the stretch run.
