I thought about it, but in the end, Raja is just too one dimensional for me.  I think Rush is just as good on defense as present-day Raja, and he's better in most other areas, as well.

I used to really like Bell, but I think he's gotten too old.

I'd concede Rush is a better offensive option at this point; Bell only edges him out in free throw shooting and taking care of the ball. (Brandon has ten more turnovers than assists.) But Raja is still a much better defender. And let's not even start on Kelenna Azubuike.

Brandon Rush's defense is actually very good.  Here are some of his defensive numbers, as compared to other elite defensive wings, via Synergy Sports:

Those numbers paint the picture of a guy who is a very good man-to-man defender.  Sadly, I don't have Raja's numbers to compare.

As for Azubuike, that's Champ's guy, not mine.
