I like Gortat a lot, but I think thats too early for him to go.

moi aussi.

I don't know.  If Noah can go #2 overall, then I don't think #26 is out of whack for Gortat at all.  There is a premium on centers, and Gortat has looked great lately (and between he and Noah, Gortat has the one who has been healthy the past two years.)
Personally I thought 26 was too early for Gortat and you really traded up with Billups, but Noah at #2 was Proterozoic Era early.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

I like this one for both teams. ;)  Word on the street is that LA wanted to jump in front of nemesis The Walker Wiggle out of fear that he might steal Chauncey, so this paid off.  I like both Chauncey and Gortat as building blocks for their respective teams.

Another question mark. Not sure why Chicago makes this deal with Noah manning the middle?

Chicago's keepers were Boozer and Rose.

That's why they're called snap judgments. Ok, I can buy in. There's still too wide of a talent divide between the two swapped players. But I do like Gortat alongside Boozer. (A player I'd rather forget about, clearly.)

Snap judgements:

Sac sends: Tyreke Evans
Philly Sends: Andre Igoudala

This is a great move by Sacramento with Curry in place. Evans may prove to be the bigger talent, but Iguodala brings some maturity and defense to the Kings.

A lateral move for Philly? Evans is better suited to being a first option. But he hasn't had the sophomore season most expected; and he's been quietly tuning out his coach and breaking plays more often than I'd want to see.

I agree with most of this - I think Iggy is a terrific fit for Sacramento with Curry in there to run the offense and control the ball.  And in terms of this season this is pretty even in terms of talent.

But Tyreke clearly has a higher ceiling than Iggy, and Holiday isn't a ball-dominant PG, which will work well with Evans' game.  With Odom in the paint we've got a do-everything big with a lot of length.  I think this core might have a bit of a learning curve but they're very versatile and create matchup issues for a lot of teams.  They're well-equipped to be very competitive in a couple of years.

Yeah, I was legitimately shocked when I logged on this afternoon to see that Noah went #2.  He may be the most overrated player in the NBA.  I don't see a huge gap between he and Gortat, which is why I think Chicago's pick wasn't a bad one in terms of relative value.

If he hasn't, I guess I can't blame him, since Noah is seemingly always in an (ugly) suit on the sidelines.

Huh,

74,80,64 GP in his first 3 seasons.  Not really Injury prone kinda numbers...

18 games missed last year, 23 games (and counting) missed this year.  I'm not sure that durability is a particular strength.

A torn Ligament in his thumb, not like we are really talking bad knees.  Anyways we are quite happy with Noah, he is a stud who has improved every season he has been in the league, a great defender and rebounder, and from our talks wouldn't have made it out of the top 7

The draft board has a small mistake .. the order of three teams selections are muddled up in future rounds (I dropped two spots)

Quote
Round 1, Jan 31st
Round   Pick   Team   Player   Time:
1)   1   Sacramento   StartOrien
1)   2   Minnesota   Rondo2287
1)   3   New Jersey   Action781
1)   4   Washington   wdleehi
1)   5   Detroit   33-00-32
1)   6   Indiana     Who
1)   7   Milwaukee   IndeedProceed
1)   8   LA Clippers Greenfaith18

1)   9   Charlotte   Gainesville Celtic
1)   10   Philadelphia   FairweatherFan

Quote
Round 2, Feb 1st
2)   1   Sacramento   StartOrien   11:00 AM
2)   2   Minnesota   Rondo2287   11:10 AM
2)   3   New Jersey   Action781   11:20 AM
2)   4   Washington   wdleehi   11:30 AM
2)   5   Detroit   33-00-32   11:40 AM
2)   6   Milwaukee   IndeedProceed   11:50 AM
2)   7   LA Clippers   Greenfaith1819   12:00 PM
2)   8   Indiana   Who   12:10 PM

2)   9   Charlotte   Gainesville Celtic   12:20 PM
2)   10   Philadelphia   FairweatherFan   12:30 PM

Rounds 2 through 10 have the same mistake. The first round schedule is the correct one.

It looks like all the other teams are in the right order in future rounds.

I like this one for Philly.  Basically, Iggy is an older, less dynamic Tyreke with more defense but less of everything else.

I just hate Tyreke Evans as a player. I don't think he could ever play a role on a contender. He's just too ball dominant, and not quite skilled enough - or perhaps too undersized to pull it off in my opinion. Like a less talented Allen Iverson. I think Tom Ziller elaborated on this earlier last week when discussing the inept Sacramento offense.

Meanwhile, Iguodala's ability to play excellent defense on two positions is a big plus for a team that expects to get a lot offensively out of Cousins & Curry. And I've long believed that Iguodala could be a terrific complimentary player offensively if he was put in the right place to do it - much like he did at the FIBA championships this year.

I think Sacramento probably could have done better, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I can tell you, if we could've done better it wasn't for lack of attempts on my end. I offered Reke to quite a few teams.

Regarding Iggy, I'm biased against him after watching him for so many years in Philly, I think.  After watching the guy 60+ games every year, I saw a guy who just didn't seem to be able to play to his full offensive potential unless he had the ball in his hands.  In other words, offensively he's like a less skilled Tyreke Evans.  He's never embraced, or been able to adapt to, a secondary role, despite the fact that he would seem perfect for that type of role.  He's a guy who demands the ball, but who definitely isn't any sort of a leader.

Defensively, though, he's got about as much talent as any wing in the league.  I love the guy's skills, I just don't think he's put it together like he should have.  With Tyreke, I think he's still young and growing, and I think he's going to be tremendous.  (The fact that Danny was a big Tyreke Evans fan is another factor in his favor, too.)

But who is Iguodala supposed to compliment? Since Iverson, I can't think of a single player the 6ers have had that has been above average offensively. I'd guess that he often gets frustrated by the lack of talent, and thats what causes him to need the ball in his hands.

Maybe its too small of a sample size, and it might also because I want my suspicions to be true, but I thought what he was able to do on the FIBA team shows what he could bring to a team who had the pieces on him.
