Pending new ownership for Golden State, the Commissioner's Office selects: Darren Collison.

I wonder how long until the commissioner's office gives you a 25 TP fine?

Nick - like you mentioned - Hedo will do fine for my roster, since we do in fact have a very good PG that can shoot the ball.

It will be interesting to see how these rosters pan out. Hopefully, Riah32 can run these in 2K10 or 11.
Baron Davis is not a good shooter, the problem with him and Hedo is that they both need the ball to be effective.

No, Baron is not a great shooter. But he is a top 10 PG. He will do fine as our PG with this roster, in this setting. Him and Hedo will co-exist and make the Clips better.

Like I stated earlier - I suppose that the only way to settle our opinions here is to have Riah32 run these rosters in 2K10 or 11.
Using a video game sim isn't going to decide much of anything honestly. The results for last year were pretty wacky from what I recall.

I could be wrong, but I think someone did it for the CB Draft and it accurately rated the top 2 teams.

They did.

That poster was Riah32, and he is a pick two player this year as well, if I'm not mistaken.

And if I remember correctly - he offered to run the sims for us this year as well, as long as we passed him some Tommys.

I'd LOVE IT if he did it again this year. I think we now have a dark Horse in LA, and it's not the Lakers. ;D

the charlotte BOBCATZ! select another young-un to go with DJ/Crash/Big Al:

Thaddeus Young

I'm not a fan of his overall game, but he's solid versatile pick at this point in the draft.

He's still only 22 y.o. and as much as I like to build win-now teams, i just don't have the time to persue trades in this draft.

Thad's still pretty raw but also an explosive offensive talent. he'd just be a rookie if he'd stayed all 4 years at GaTech.

Could he develop into an Xavier McDaniel level player? Bobcatz would be cool with that!

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
Got 3-12. Looking to move it with one of Kevin Martin, Tony Parker, or Brandon Jennings for some big man help.

If not, I'm going to pick yet another point guard. Suck on that, clowns.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

Considered Collison, but with DJ Augustin I just didn't think it'd work (and Augustin is actually having a better season)...

I'm racking my brains for guys who are disproportionally great in 2k11....

I could catch some flack for this, but Ray Allen is ridiculous in 2k11. An absolutely unstoppable force.

Russell Westbrook is easier to score with than Kevin Durant.

To clear up the video game stuff, here's Riah's post on the subject:

Quote
Not sure how many from you last year remember I started sim the pick 2 draft in nba 2k10. I got as far as the first round but then stopped do me getting a full time job. However tonight I threw the game in and simulated the rest of the playoffs and the Bobcats won the Title in 6 games over the Suns. Gerald Wallace was MVP.

Phoneix beat Dallas and San Antonio on the way to the finals and the Bobcats beat the Wizards and were pushed to 7 games by the heat before win that and the finals.

So, video games tell us these were the two best rosters:

Quote
Charlotte Bobcats (crownsy)-
Mike Conley, Stephen Jackson, Gerald Wallace, Troy Murphy, Brendan Haywood
Chris Duhon, Eddie House, Nick Young, Mickael Pietrus, Glen Davis, Kwame Brown

Quote
Phoenix Suns (Gomesfan)-
Mo Williams, Kevin Martin, Andre Iguodala, Amaré Stoudemire, Spencer Hawes
DJ Augustin, Jason Kapono, Josh Childress, Taj Gibson

Sorry, but no way in Hades are those teams the two best ones from last year's draft.  You'd get equally legitimate results from picking names out of a hat.

Ya, he averages about 6 dunks off the spin move per game. BTW, still haven't stopped playing it.

Didn't work out a deal, so I'm taking the best guy I think is out there, regardless of position:

Andre Miller

Now Miller, Parker, and Jennings are all on the block. Otherwise, I'm rolling out there with Kevin Martin at PF.

This is what I was recalling from this summer's draft.

Work was done by Celticspride07

Quote
I'd contend that the Pacific is the best division in the league:

I agree it's the best division. I created the pacific division teams in 2k10 with the rookies downloaded. The ratings for the downloaded rookies are kinda high i would say. So take the higher rookie ratings into effect when looking at these team rankings.

LAL: overall 85, offense 85, defense 84(no rookies)
PHX: overall 89, offense 89, defense 86(3 rookies)
SAC: overall 82, offense 90, defense 79(no rookies)
LAC: overall 83, offense 72, defense 89(no rookies)
GSW: overall 86, offense 85, defense 83(3 rookies)

The rookies increse GSW and PHX rating by a few points so i would lower their overall by 3 points to get these numbers:
LAL: overall 85
PHX: overall 86
SAC: overall 82
LAC: overall 83
GSW: overall 83

I know its 2k10 a video game but its pretty accurate and these teams are all pretty competitive and make it a really hard division.
