At the least Joey Crawford should not get big games as he is NOT a good ref.  Today he changed the momentum of the game twice with very questionable calls.  Calls that weren't his to make as his vantage point was poor.  The foul on ray allen when fisher was driving was horrible, he couldn't see anything, great job by fisher to sell it but if he can't keep up with the play and blows the call he should retire.
If this was fifa he'd be run out

The man has been in power a little longer than the president of Egypt. Only it seems even longer than that. We need to take to the streets

Two Laker runs were spurred by poor officiating.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

I remember the 7th game and Crawford and Company. The great game was ruined by phony calls. They couldn't stop us this time.

I was glad to see Doc get tossed for complaining. In the long run I think it will send a message. Don't Tread on Me. Well worth the 15k's. Doc has to protect his players.

In the total game the Lakers had 37 free throw attempts to the Celtics just 17.

But how many more shot attempts did the lakers have because of all the offensive rebounds?  More shot attempts would lead to more opportunities to be fouled and thus, more free throw attempts.  I'd be more interested to know what the difference in the percentage of free throw attempts to field goal attempts was between the two teams (but not interested enough to actually look it up myself).

I don't disagree that somewhere in the second half the refs decided out of the blue to start calling it tight and for a physical team like the Celtics that did not bode well.  Nor do I disagree that in my 25 years of watching basketball the lakers have been the recipient of some very favorable calls at critical moments in big games.  I just don't understand what the motive would be for the NBA to orchestrate a conspiracy to aide the lakers at this juncture in the series.  It was game 7 of the finals.  Neither the series nor the season could have been extended and there was no danger of a small market team advancing.  It's not like it was the conference finals against some small market team who had a 3-2 lead going into game 6.

So every offensive rebound they got came in the 4th quarter? Because that is the issue Celtics had the lead in the 4th and the refs changed the rules with the foul calling. That is what changed the game.

No.  The issue brought up that I quoted was the total free throws for the game and to dispute the notion that this discrepancy was due to some conspiracy by the refs and the NBA I pointed out that more offensive rebounds would lead to more shot attempts which would lead to more opportunities to draw a foul.  I agree that the refs all of a sudden started calling it tighter in the latter part of the game.  Not sure if I agree that it was done as part of some mass conspiracy to screw the Celtics.

Phil Jackson had Ron Artest tangle up with Pierce early in Game 1 and in Game 7 right before the game was called differently to manipulate the refs into calling a tighter game to favor the Lakers. Stern/NBA/Refs don't want Crazy Ron Artest to punch someone out again and the bad publicity that comes with it. There's your monetary motivation; it wasn't to screw the Celtics.

so again at the least crawford should not get any marquis games, if he proves he can't ref a good game give him new jersey vs sacramento
this is how all ref jobs should be and if a guy consistantly blows it, d league

Problem is it was ONE sided in favor of Lakers. That is my problem with it.

When u got the commentators blasting the refs u know something is wrong. They bailed out kobe too many times and fisher had horrible flops
