You know what?  This is a very very solid discussion.  Who gets credit and blame for something is totally legit.  Very very valid points being made all around.

Pointing at the offensive coordinator as doing good game planning and taking decisions away from a young QB is a very good point.

This is what bothers me.  If Brady or Manning come out and do what Sanchez did everyone is like "Oh they are such good game managers. They rise to the occasion. They have such good timing with their receivers. They're practically unstoppable in that situation".

But when Sanchez does it people minimize what he did. And people are minimizing what Brady did pointing at a great Jets defense.  Yes the Jets D did some good things but there were plenty of things they didn't do well.  Like when Brady had allllllll day to throw the D line was not getting there and there was room to run, but he didn't.   When they were allowing Gronk to get open.  They weren't great stopping the run.

I credit the Jets but I blame the Pats.  To me the Jets took advantage of Pats mistakes and came more prepared to do so.  They rushed the QB. They covered receivers. And they let their QB make plays.

The Pats in the mean time played fine defense, but made some horrid key decisions and their QB and receivers dropped the ball.
