That being said, I'll entertain offers for 1.1, though probably will sit on it.

Keeping: D-Lee and Monta Ellis. Haters gonna hate.

Good Move. Gotta have a low-post presence.

Sitting at 1.1, couldn't be more pleased to see Steph Curry available, but I gotta say I disagree with the notion that you can't keep Curry & Ellis. They both have significantly more value than Lee, and I refuse to believe a team that starts aroudn Curry-Ellis couldn't be successful with some smart moves.

I'd be all set with Monta.  He's extremely talented, but I'm not sure that he works great in a team concept.  To his credit, he's having an amazing season, but I don't think he's making anybody around him better.

Spurs are keeping Timmy and Manu.  Need my 10 TP's (to stock up for that "double your TPs bet in the Finals" this year --> we're not losing this time!!!)

all pending offers to swap for Manu or Parker are still being considered.

Not with Nash in tow. Still some good players to pick up.

True.

But you, GSW, and SAC all get to pick ahead of me for the entire draft.

Who are you keeping besides Nash?

Probably Carter, although part of me sees the rationale in keeping Gortat.

What about Grant Hill?

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
Anyone interested in Scola or Kevin Martin? Or Yao's insured contract? I can keep that and trade it to you for some magic beans.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

I also wouldn't consider Joe Johnson very efficient. I could see Josh Smith playing #2 or even #3 in an offense, where I can't say the same for Joe Johnson.

Johnson was a pretty effective #3/#4 option for the Suns before he came to Atlanta.  I think it's more of an ego issue than an ability issue with him.

Not exactly sure what you mean, but I believe I agree. What gets in his way is absolutely ego, the same ego that had him going to Atlanta to be a franchise player in the first place. At this point I don't think he's willing to be anything but a #1 option.

Yeah I think we agree - I can't see him being a #3 guy at this point either, but it isn't because he can't be efficient enough to fill the role, it's because his ego won't allow him to not be a #1 guy.

I'm not sure I agree though. As I recall his decision to leave the Suns had more to do with hard feelings lingering from contract extension talks the season prior. Sarver's negotiation tactics are now infamous. That and the larger, front loaded offer from Atlanta.

His roll and minutes in Atlanta's new motion offense are reduced from season's prior and I've yet to read a negative response from J.J.

EDIT - Although, yes, fair to say he's still the first option there.

It's a lousy choice, I'd say on talent alone the choice is Vince Carter; on importance to the Suns the choice is in fact Grant Hill; based on upside? Oof, I don't know. Marcin Gortat?

He wanted to play PG initially in Atlanta for some reason too.

Sarver was definitely the reason Johnson wanted out.
