Wow, talk about someone who gives way too much credit to the QB when a team wins (and too much blame for a loss).
I guess you missed the replays that showed Jets in the jersey of all the Pat's receiver? All but 1 sack by the Jets were coverage sacks. Brady didn't play badly; he had NO open receivers the entire game. And then there were several drops when he did manage to connect.
Why do you think Belichek went run heavy in the 4th quarter even though they were running out of time? He had no choice because (again) the receivers couldn't get open vs Reavis, Cromartie, and the rest.
Furthermore, Sanchez didn't play that well. His defense gave him lots of opportunities and they ran the ball fairly well. He only threw for 194 yards on 16 completions. The Jets had just 1 long scoring drive it was due to 1 big play. The other 3 TD drives were 49, 37 and 5 yards.
Football is way more than just 1 player throwing passes.
And, BTW, I'm not a Pat fan or a Brady fan but I calls 'em likes I sees 'em.
