Sanchez isn't some Trent Dilfer/Brady Johson guy.  He didn't become the beneficiary of some big mistakes by the Pats or something like that.  He solidly outplayed Brady last night. Solidly.  
If Cutler solidly outplays the best QBs in the game for the next two weeks then I will have to start to entertain the idea of him being one of the top QBs in the game.

However Cutler and Sanchez have a few things going for them that Brady doesn't.  Youth. No major injury history. Less distractions. More hunger.

They may not be the best QB in football today, but perhaps by mid next year they could be.

Im not sure if this is sarcasm or what.  Brady is the clear MVP and had an absolutely crazy season in which their offense was completely transformed mid season.  He threw the second most TD's of his career and lead the most efficient offense in League History.  

Sanchez on the other hand was the 27th ranked QB in the regular season.  Lets not overreact here.  Sanchez has faced two subpar defenses especially against the pass in his two playoff games.  Meanwhile Brady faced a defense that played one of the best games I have ever seen.

Right. The QB that went on the road and outplayed every other QB on their turf and then won the Super Bowl would have to be considered the best QB in football. Exactly. Kinda like when Brady did it and Montana did it people started to consider them the best QBs in football.

The Patriots are soooooo young on defense , it's called growing pains.

I didn't see the growing pains when they were crushing the Jets 43-3.  I would have thought with a bye week playing at home they might have been able to do half as well, but instead their QB got horridly outplayed.

Trying to pin this on the defense is a bad idea. The defense didn't throw the ball to receivers that hadn't turned around yet. The defense didn't show less scramble ability than Drew Bledsoe. The defense didn't throw an interception. The defense didn't drop passes. That was mostly Brady and the offense.

Doesn't change that he totally outplayed Brady. Brady got very good field position several times as well such as some big returns and couldn't do anything with it.

Do you base everything you know about football on one game?  I'm guessing based on your continued misspelling of Belichick's name that you're not a big Pats fan but, come on. Sanchez has a career 27 TD, 33 INT. You're arguing he is gonna be the best QB in the game if they win the SB. Brady wasn't considered the best QB in the game after we beat the Rams. And he shouldn't have been at that point. Your comments on Sanchez are borderline looney. You blame the loss on Brady being distracted by his supermodel wife. I don't think there's any evidence of that whatsoever. If you have followed the Pats before last nights game, you would know the focus and competitiveness that Brady brings every week. Sure, he played poorly last night, it happens. The Jets played great, no TOs, very few penalties, great defense. Alge's dropped first quarter TD was big. Chung's botched fake punt was huge. I already said that Brady didn't play great or even good and that the recievers dropped a lot of passes , but to ignore the fact that the Jets have a dominate defense full of VERTERAN players who have been through the playoffs many times is silly .

For the Pats defense this was their 1st or 2nd playoff game for most of them. They can't get to the quarterback at all, and don't have a great secondary .

The reason they were playing good in the regular season was because they were always so far ahead in the games. That makes the other teams have to Pass the ball which leads to turnovers. The Jets didn't allow the Pats to get ahead yesterday. Yes some of that is on Brady and the offense, but give the Jets D some credit, they are very good defense .

I know that you enjoy defending indefensible positions, but here are Sanchez's stats from this past year:

205.7 yards / game (25th), 54.8% completion percentage (29th), 17 TDs (T-19th), 13 INTs (T-13th), 75.7 QB Rating (27th)

Those are pretty pedestrian numbers.  Sanchez played a good game yesterday, but I wouldn't confuse his team success with individual greatness.

Wow, talk about someone who gives way too much credit to the QB when a team wins (and too much blame for a loss).

I guess you missed the replays that showed Jets in the jersey of all the Pat's receiver? All but 1 sack by the Jets were coverage sacks. Brady didn't play badly; he had NO open receivers the entire game. And then there were several drops when he did manage to connect.

Why do you think Belichek went run heavy in the 4th quarter even though they were running out of time? He had no choice because (again) the receivers couldn't get open vs Reavis, Cromartie, and the rest.

Furthermore, Sanchez didn't play that well. His defense gave him lots of opportunities and they ran the ball fairly well. He only threw for 194 yards on 16 completions. The Jets had just 1 long scoring drive it was due to 1 big play. The other 3 TD drives were 49, 37 and 5 yards.

Football is way more than just 1 player throwing passes.

And, BTW, I'm not a Pat fan or a Brady fan but I calls 'em likes I sees 'em.
