No surprise.
The Knicks have been able to get a first round pick from the Wolves for Randolph since the summer. This trade has always been available.
I posted this in a different thread a few days ago......
Kevin Love has a motor, he can start the fast break by
rebounding(#1 in the NBA) and can beat his man up the floor to finish fast break
good 3pt shooter(42%)(#18 in the nba)
gets to the line 6.5 times per game(top 20 in the nba)
He is grabbing 4.5ORPG(# 1 in the NBA)
And he shoots 87% from the line(#14 in the NBA)
Whats not to like about that....
I would take Love any day over Randolph . Love has already reached a lot of his potential ( best rebounder/ hustler in the league). He can still become an explosive offensive player IMO , especially when he finally plays with a good PG. Imagine Love with Rondo he would eeasily be putting up 22-25 PPG with good shoot % and being a beast rebounder.
