I could see Nazr Mohammed, Marcus Camby, and possibly Chris Kaman and Emeka Okafor as possible trade targets

The team to do a trade with is Cleveland. Pretty sure they'd be more than happy to do what it takes to ruin Lebron's year. Then they'd be like "Karma's a b****".

Varajao and Antoine Jamison.

Send over young guys, some cash, JO, and draft picks.

Get it done.

Varejao is out for the season...and Jamison has looked horrible so far.

Oh yeah. Forgot about Varajao.  Maybe JJ Hickson then

Jamison is averaging 16 and 6. Not great shooting percentages, but still.

Jamison doesn't play defense at all. Hickson would be great...but they refused to trade him last year..when the Queen was on their roster and they were trying to appease her majesty...I don't think JO and fillers would make for a good bait.

Definitely frustrated about JOs health. When he's in there, I actually like what he adds, but he must be almost completely out of cartilage at this point...how did the med team not see this coming?

Varejao is done for the year.

They probably did see it coming, but Ainge thought that signing Jermaine O'Neal to a deal only two years long was better than giving Brad Miller a guaranteed three-year deal for at least the $15 million he got from Houston or making a bid for someone like Joel Anthony.  More short-term risk, but less long-term risk and a higher level of performance in the short term if it works out.

None of those players is going to be available for anything that we have to trade.

How about Stephen Jackson and Kwame Brown For Jermaine Oneal and Nate Robinson?

West plays the pg and Quise moves to the sg. Jackson is point forward and would be a great sub for either Ray or Paul. I guess we wouldn't even have to take Kwame if we decided picking up Sheed was better.

Don't even know if this realistic but I have read Charlotte might rebuild and would like to dump Jacks contract...

SAD SAD SAD for JO and the C's. I thought he was a great acquisition when we signed him. He played in 70 games last year and I know he struggled in the playoffs but he was banged up and Perk has always shut him down. However I thought he was a great pick up when you see how much centers get paid.

JO. give it back. 6 million, now.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

I don't think JO was a bad signing. He did play in 70 games last year and with the information available at the time, it seemed he could help us. Now, well as much as I would love to have him contribute this year, it looks less and less likely. It seems he has the same issues that Bynum did last year, swelling and stiffness that keeps out of action. Bynum was able to drain the knee and still play some heavy minutes on a bum knee. Maybe JO can tape it together until the playoffs and then drain and play his way through the Finals, but not sure.

Shaq I am especially concerned about. He looks cooked as well. No energy, no rebounds, can barely get to the rim to score.

Get Sheed back and start playing Semih big minutes..

It was a calculated risk. Take the good with the bad. Some moves work out, like resigning TA last season and Quis this season -- both of those guys were risks based on past performance on the Celts.

Some don't work out. JO might not.

Still, even if he can't play every game, he can still at the very least contribute sporadically when really needed.

Because his contract is 2 years, we have almost no hope of moving him.
