With JO's probable surgery or extended absence to shut down his knee, all signs seem to point out to a Sheed comeback once again. And I'm gladly in favor ot this move.
Basic problem:
Since steven i smith predicted it would happen there is absolutely no chance it will.
Time would be better spent pondering looking for another big man.
Personally, I don't think it'll be necessary. Shaq, Perk, Semih, Davis, and Garnett will be more than a formidable rotation.
Perk -- coming off major surgery and has not played any basketball for 7 months. We cannot expect him to be 100 percent until next year.
Shaq -- looks like a 100-year-old man. Jermaine going down and likely having surgery means less opportunity to rest Shaq.
Semih -- a rookie that really should not see many minutes in the playoffs. If he does, the Celts are going nowhere and likely will be out in the second round.
Davis -- a former power forward who now fancies himself as a shooting guard.
garnett -- He should be fine.
I think Jermaine's presence was important to this big man rotation and they are going to have to figure out how to get someone here. What a bust and what a waste of the MLE.
