Read a quote from Jermaine Oneal earlier saying he would like to retire a Pacer. Age wise, he should have 5-7 years of playing time left in the tank, but he'll only play about 60% of those games each season due to injury. And with the continuing growing production of Big Baby, why not trade him?

For Indy it makes sense for their lack of size. Outside of an iffy Roy Hibbert, and recently DUNKED ALL OVER Jeff Foster, the Pacers are weak in the paint. JO brings back their good times for a fraction of his previous contract. Wafer gets to play some more minutes after learning how to hustle on D here, and might make some production next to Collison and Granger.
Obviously for us, we take Posey off their hands who can finally back up pierce for 8-12 MPG, and even play PF for a few possessions for us down the stretch in small ball games.
He's definitely lost a few steps since our championship year, but that's why I added in Brandon Rush as insurance now and for the future. He'd be great next to Rondo, and could really learn to play SG/SF from another former Jayhawk Pierce.
