The +29, -29 tells the whole story. Rose has no clue how to set up his guys at this point, most of his passes are bailout passes because he is out of scoring position.
Two very different players ... one is primarily a scorer, the other a facilitator. I think Rondo's scoring ability will come ahead faster than Rose's assist rate. I'm much happier with Rondo, personally, than I would be with Rose.

However, he still had Duncan and Manu. Billups made huge shots in '04 but I wouldn't consider him score first. So the closest case you can make in the last 10 years is probably Parker.
Two completely different players. The +/- has just about as much to do with the different teams as it does anything. Rose is phenomenal, don't kid yourselves.
