Wow, triple OT for the Nets and Thunder.  Good day to have Jeff Green in fantasy.

The only time not to give Ray the ball at the end of the game is when he's sitting on the bench in a blowout.

This.

He's Ray Allen for crying out loud. He hits it when it matters the most.
it worked on that last shot which I'm thrilled with (after cringing on his prior shot) and feel free to pound your chest with those comments but if that statement was true, we'd have gotten #18 last year.

Man, this team sucks. Even if they win this game they showed us why none of the "experts" pick them to win the championship, they suck in the 4th quarter.

I can understand the frustration at times....but do you have to be a negative nancy everytime?...I've never seen you give them credit for good wins/wins...if they let a game get close or go on a cold streak...you are always quick with a "This teams sucks" post. Its a game, it happens...especially on back to back nights with a veteran roster...the important thing is that they won...and know how to win.

ray allen can miss every shot in a game but there is nobody else I'd rather to take the big shot

ok well then how bout this. He hits them when it matters most...when he hasn't been brutally kneed in the thigh by Ron Artest. That pain can take more than a week to go away and from THAT moment exactly he stopped shootin it the same. Go back and watch which game it happend and how he shot after

man, how awesome would the Celtics have been if I was the GM of the team for 30 minutes during the summer of 09 and I bought a second rounder for my binky / genius bit off scouting:

I recently saw a statistic that said over the last 4 years the Mavericks are first and the Celtics are second in games decided by a close margin.

Well, another close one at home. I'll take the win, no matter how close it was. Portland's a tough out.

It seems to me that thus far we are taking care of business at home. Last year? 24-17 at home. We seem to be improving upon that so far.

As for Ray? Nice shot to help us late. He didn't shoot particularly well, but here's 3:47 secs worth of reasons why I still love him in Green:

Get some rest, C's! Boozer, Noah and Rose comes to town on Friday.

And YES! ANOTHER LAKERS LOSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I Love it!! 4 in a row for the Purple and Gold!! Keep it together LA...would like to see you in one piece in June.

There were really only 7 players in rotation tonight. Doc must really not trust the second unit.

Also, if I recall correctly, the Celtics started to lose that big lead after they took Daniels out and put in Pierce. Up until that point, they were playing fantastically for a stretch. There was lots of passing, forcing defensive breakdowns. Then they got lazy somehow. Seemed like they were just trying to wind down the clock.

I know right! good thing they've lucked out to a 14-4 record since they suck so much  ::)

I swear, you can't please some people. Last time i checked, winning is winning.

I've heard this BS sentiment about the pats this year too

"oh, we got lucky! we should be 7-4 at best, this team blows!"

Spoiled, spoiled fan base around here lately in all sports.

I for one don't give a flaming poop how you win, Just win baby. the W's all actually count the same come playoff seeding time. this ain't the BCS.

Nate Robinson hurt his ankle/foot and came out and did not return. That's one less player in the rotation.

Then Semih played his normal five minutes in the first half and in the second half when he'd normally check in check Boston was rolling and building up a big lead. Then the Blazers went very small with a PG, 3 SG, and PF line up.
