OK.  chalk that one up to "even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while"

Chalk that one up to "Ray taking his team's last shot"

Yeah, the last one was too, but somehow...somehow Ray knows he's getting it back.

And THAT is why Ray Allen is one of the best clutch shooters in nba history

And I'm guessing Nate was put in the doghouse tonight.  He played 4 minutes in the first half and didn't see the floor again.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a similar reaction after the first one.  But Ray's a shooter, and with the great ones it doesn't matter how they've been going.  Love that he's on this team.

Thank you lordy for that loose ball foul on Matthews after Ray missed his practice shot ;)

That turned out to be crucial. Was it the right call?

I think fatigue was a big factor down the stretch. I don't think KG, Rondo and Baby got a single breather in the 2nd half.

Edit: I should have said midway point of the 3rd.

C's are their own worst enemy.  They dont do well in low gear, but when they put the pedal down, well, watch their dust.

The only time not to give Ray the ball at the end of the game is when he's sitting on the bench in a blowout.

This.

He's Ray Allen for crying out loud. He hits it when it matters the most.

Ray is a guy where the result of his previous shot has no effect on his next shot.  The guy is clutch no matter how he has been playing.
