I think OKC could be close to the familiar trap of "falling in love with your own young potential." Iggy as 3rd banana is a HUGE upgrade, and if they get him without giving away one of their scarce bigs, that is a major move in and of itself.
Durant/Iggy/Thabo is a nice rotaions at the 2/3 (with Maynor/Westbrook at 1/2).
So yeah, Green is a weak spot at pure PF. he's ideally a bench 3/4. He's a decent player, and I think his rep outweighs his value generally, so they could get something there after getting iguodala to round out their lineup.
1. Boston: Green for Baby and Wafer (we get a 3/4 bench guy)
2. Sac: Green for Landry and Darnell Jackson or Greene
3. Sac: Green for Thompson and Darnell Jackson or Greene
4. Orlando: Green for Bass
5. Orlando: Green and White for Gortat
Personally, I think some of the following 9-man playoff rotations are downright scary:
Westbrook/Maynor
Iggy/Thabo/Maynor (to account for Maynor/Westbrook combo)
Durant/Thabo
Landry/Collison
Ibaka/Krstic
Westbrook/Maynor
Iggy/Thabo/Maynor
Durant/Thabo
Thompson/Collison
Ibaka/Krstic
Westbrook/Maynor
Iggy/Thabo/Maynor
Durant/Thabo
Bass/Collison
Ibaka/Krstic
Westbrook/Maynor
Iggy/Thabo/Maynor
Durant/Thabo
Baby/Collison
Ibaka/Krstic
Westbrook/Maynor
Iggy/Thabo/Maynor
Durant/Thabo
Ibaka/Collison
Gortat/Krstic
