What makes people think things have changed in the month since he's been traded?  Especially from the Patriots point of view?  They just going to absolutely change face here because he had glowing things to say about the organization in a press conference yesterday?

The Patriots haven't lost a game since Moss was traded.  They've completely revamped the offense and beaten up on some high quality teams here.  Not cupcakes.  I just don't see why they would bring him back so soon after trading him.  Sorry.

The guy is an absolute freak. They haven't lost since he was traded but they've only narrowly won every game or did it in OT. Plus, you make it seem like the Pats weren't winning with Moss. They had a winning record with him here too.

That they didn't need him to narrowly win 3 football games... They still needed a healthy receiver, though.

With the defense playing the way they are, the circumstances more in the Pats favor and an injured Branch, Moss is a low-risk very high reward move that makes perfect sense right now. It's 2007 all over again if they can bring him in at the minimum.

It wasn't 2007 when he was with the Patriots earlier this season.  He was not the same player.  He had incentive coming into this season to play for a new contract.  He underperformed and played himself out of New England.  Playing on a veteran minimum contract is going to offer incentive now? 

I'm not watching these games saying "Boy, I sure miss that deep threat or we should never have traded Moss".  The offense is different and can be difficult on the eyes at times but they're still winning games and Brady is playing much like he did in the earlier days; finding the open receiver and not trying to force it into Moss.

the Pats do know what is best though... And if they think that Randy can definitely help this team with what he’s gone through he will have a new appreciation of being here (which it sounded like he really didn’t know how good he had it here) then I’m all for him coming back.

That's exactly how I feel Chris, but I wouldn't be opposed to bringing Moss back because I have that much trust in Bellicheck and the Patriots organization. 

I'm not saying Bill and the organization don't make mistakes though because quite frankly he does and they do.

The only way they'll get him is for all 32 teams to pass and then Pats sign him cheap.  That is doubtful unless Randy is determined to play with the Pats, and, if the Pats are open to having him here.  I am sure that this senario will be dicussed IF both parties want it to end up that way. Not sure if NFL rules prohibit such discussions between waived players and NFL teams. But... I am certain Pats can somehow get the message to Randy that if he survives waivers that Pats will be interested -- if they are.

Frankly, I don't see a big downside to re-signing him on the cheap.  All cards are in Pats hands; Randy is humbled and has to prove himself, and the Pats can dump him at a moment's notice.   If I thought the Pats were the odds-on favorite to win the superbowl, I wouldn't mess with it. But...I think the Pats are over-achieving right now.

I have a feeling Titans might do something outside their realm and Get a STAR player. They surely use a star wide-out like Randy Moss. Hopefully the teams in front of them don't claim him. Randy would do wonders for CJ2K who is almost always facing 8 to 9 defender in the box. The thought of it excites me.   I would be p---ed if Titans pass him up.
