Jeez... He's back with the Pats, no doubt.

He'll be back on the Pats with the Vikings paying the bills. What a great position for New England to be in right now.
I'd imagine he'll get claimed off of waivers.

For $6.2 million? I'd bet money he won't. Interested teams will take their chances after he clears waivers.

P.S. I thought he was an automatic free agent due to tenure?

I'm guessing he'll end up with one of the more dysfunctional and desperate teams out there right now;  Dallas, Washington, and San Diego come to mind.

I'm willing to bet he doesn't come close to clearing waivers.

He's not a free agent right now.

20 TP's Don, you're on. He clears with no problem.

Edit: It's after the deadline so he'll enter waivers.

He isnt because its post trade deadline.  If he was waived before the trade deadline he would be a FA

1. Another team will claim him before us.
2. If not, I don't see us claiming him. Pat chemistry is at an all time high, and the departure of Moss has removed him as a distraction.  He is a very needy person, and that type just is not appropriate for Pats.

He comes back to the Pats in the same situation as "07" where he's trying to get a new contract and prove he can fit in. If he acts up even a little, the Pats will cut him with no repercussions.

I'm guessing he clears waivers and then ends up being signed by Dallas or Cincy.

Just for fun, wouldn't it be funny if Moss ended up back with Oakland?  Sort of a Randy Moss farewell tour....

For the record, I don't want him back on the Pats as I worry about team chemistry, which seems to be great right now.

For that same reason, I worry a little bit about what will happen when Mankins gets back.

Did the Pats just pull the biggest NFL steal or?

Its very likely that Moss ends up back with the Pats on the Vikings dime... and a 3rd round pick!

Moss (a p---ed off Randy Moss with something to prove), Branch, Tate, Welker + Brady = SUPERBOWL!

Pats are Back!
