lol....I think the funniest thing I've seen in a long time is when Kobe got up after that foul/blocked shot as if he was going to get in Fresenko's face.

lol @folks overrating Westbrook. He cost his team the win against the lowly Clippers tonight. 1 out of 12 shooting. just yuck.

No Steve Trash?  Spurs might actually win one.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Just watching the Dallas vs Portland matchup for the other day ...

Portland's second unit came into the game and absolutely killed Dallas. They went with Roy and Rudy in the backcourt, Batum and Wallace as forwards and Aldridge in the middle. Dallas tried to use JJ Barea and Jason Terry in the backcourt, Peja and Dirk as forwards and Mahinmi at center.

Obviously, Terry and Barea are far too small and too weak defensively to defend any of the Blazers guards ... and Brandon Roy just took them apart.

He took Terry down into the post and either got a good shot for himself or forced a double team and got a good shot for a teammate on every post up. He was also far too big and strong for Terry to keep him out of the paint on high pick and rolls, so Roy was a dynamic playmaker there too.

Dallas is going to have major problems matching up against Portland's big guards in the playoffs.

-----------------------------------------------

Especially since they are so reliant on Terry + Barea offensive prowess to have a functional offense without C.Butler around.

If they do choose to matchup against Portland, then they'll be giving major minutes to Kidd (low scoring threat) + Marion (limited scorer) + Tyson (low scoring threat) + C.Brewer (limited scorer) + D.Stevenson (limited scorer) + Peja (stand still shooter) + Haywood (low scoring threat) ... plus some minutes for Terry as a backup PG ... darn tough to have a quality offense with that many limitations offensively.

Also, the Blazers' PG Andre Miller is a very good post post up player too. It's going to be very difficult for Dallas to hide it's small guards against Portland.

----------------------------------------------------

Jason Terry and JJ Barea combine to play around 50 minutes a game for Dallas ... this is a major problem for Dallas.

Edit: Oh, and Beaubois, that is another 20 minutes. 70 minutes per game of small guards who struggle to matchup against the Blazers big guards / wings.

Watching the Utah/Lakers game... how could people complain about the National Championship Match? They surely are not watching to this... and I'm also done watching it.

They're making the college boys look like the Nuggets teams of the 80s. By the way, Utah will need lots of changes this offseason. Ugh.
