Sensing a Spurs run. Lakers always give up big leads anyways.

Matt Barnes with the three.

Wierd how the Miami Heat have beaten the Los Angeles Lakers and the San Antonio Spurs destroyed the Heat the other day. It looks like rock, paper, scissors out there and the Lakers have the Spurs' number.

How does Kobe not get another technical or delay of game warning for not giving the ref the ball when he asked and then hiding it behind his back from the other official?
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Announcers are talking about the refs saying it's too hard for them to call the correct fouls on big guys like Howard and Shaq because their reactions are not the same as weaker perimeter guys.

What are they complaining about?  They're supposed to be making the calls based on the actions not the reactions.

Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels

Nor are the Spurs this bad.  I'm not going to take too much out of this game even though I'm certain that ESPN and the rest of the national media will.

I'm not taking too much out of this game - Popovich knows he has Homecourt Advantage on lock, so he's probably playing a little bit conservatively.

81-52.

Wut.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

The Lakers ball movement in the first quarter was hugely impressive.

It's a shame they don't play like that all the time. Unselfishly, I mean. Looking for the extra pass.

The biggest difference was Kobe looking to get his teammates as involved as possible early + Ron Artest no being the screw up he normally is in that offense.

It's impressive how good the 76ers defense is with the lethargic Spencer Hawes and the slow Elton Brand in the middle. Really well coached team. The way they collapse in the paint then close out on shooters is beautiful to see. Like an amoeba. Iggy doing a good job with the drive'n'kick too. Haven't seen much from Speights in these last couple of games, kind of disappointed so far as he was supposed to be playing at a higher level.

Blazers are stacked with talent. They would have been the #1 seed in the west and contenders if Oden and Roy were fully healthy. I think they are missing some other pieces also.

Oden
Aldridge
Wallace
Roy
Miller
With Fernandez, Matthews, Batum, and Camby off the bench.

What other pieces would they need?
