What was Kobe thinking taking that 3pt shot? Some pretty baffling decisions by him at the end of the game.

Well, I guess the Miami Heat found a solution to their problem with closing out games -- instead of relying on one of their stars to make a clutch shot down the stretch, just steal the ball from Kobe Bryant before he does  ::)

I'm pretty sure that if LA hadn't had lost the ball during that possession they would have edged out the Heat tonight.

He was getting late for the guitar hero competition...

Ok - I'm calling it now:

MIA will snap out of their little funk and beat LA on Thursday. I'm calling it right here - in this thread.

Bosh/Wade/Lebron will total 80-90 pts between them, with Lebron getting a triple double. Bosh will go for 15-20 pts and around 10 boards.

MIA owns LA - which in this case I can accept - just on thursday, though.

After thursday MIA can go back to business as usual - losing. ;D

Well, I was spot on with the first prediction...the others? Not so much.

But a Laker Loss is a Laker Loss, and even though it was by MIA I like them just a LITTLE better than LA.

I bet Phil won't open his mouth about them again.

We need Chicago and LA to lose as much as possible.

well, LA's walks away with a win on this one. Bynum is really what puts this team over the top and into "top contender" status. if they had to start both Gasol and Odom, they'd be significantly more beatable.

Mavs will be fine if Caron can make a comeback before the playoffs.

Thought he was definitely ruled out for the entire season?

Butler might be able make it back in time for the playoffs ... or perhaps return sometime early on during the playoffs.

It's only a "maybe" though + he'll have to work himself back into game shape during the playoffs which likely means he won't be able to play at his highest level.
