the Bulls are the favorite to end up with the #1 seed imo. The celtics better keep pace or they may end up as the #3 seed.

Why are they the favorites when we have a 3 game lead?

because they have the easiest schedule, and no injuries, and no new players to integrate

So far the Bulls have had the most problems with easier teams on their schedule (not unlike us).

if Boozer hadn't been injured though, the Bulls would be the #1 seed right now
Hahaha what makes you think the Bulls would win the if they hadn't been injured contest?
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

yes, Bynum is looking much better lately, which makes me worry about not having Perkins.

Oh I didn't know only planned injuries counted.

Also what if Rondo never got injured?

Actually, I'm happier about out match-up with Bynum now.  His main value to the Lakers is on defense (shot-blocking, defensive rebounding) and Perk did nothing to mitigate his impact there other than an occasional offensive board. Perk also didn't bother Bynum that much defensively (although the Lakers don't really feature him that much on offense).

Shaq is a better defender on Bynum than Perk and should be able to battle him just as well on the board.  Krstic, Murphy, Baby and even JO can drag him out of the paint a bit.

So far the Lakers are doing well against the Spurs in San Antonio. Maybe they won't  need to have homecourt advantage to do well in the playoffs, though I'm hoping that the Spurs  will eliminate them this season.

Like ive been saying all season. SPURS WONT MAKE IT OUT OF THE WEST. THey arent big enough and your seeing why tonight. Lakers dominating them on the boards and in the paint.

This is good, we have the size to match the Lakers and a healthy KG, we will also have HCA over the Lakers.

Giving Gasol 6 feet of cushion on the elbow with the shot clock winding down was bizarre.  I know you lost a step Timmy, but are you really that concerned about a Gasol blowby?
