Thank you BB and Kraft for this early Christmas present. Now the Vikes can put guys back into their natural position on offense. This offense is going to explode!

Who do you stop? Moss, Harvin, Rice(when back) Shank or A :o

Lights out baby and please remember to tune in for the televised murder of the Green Bay Packers.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

while i dont like kicking a guy as soon as he is out the door.  When Belichick says this at his press conference it really makes me mad.  Either he is lying or they shouldnt have traded him.  I dont see any other options.

"Our team, organizationally, we've had conversations and obviously are comfortable with the trade. We wish Randy the absolute best. He's been a player I've had a good relationship with. He's very honest, when I've asked him questions about football and personnel and things like that. He's been very helpful to me personally. He's been very professional and I think a good teammate and a good contributing member of this team."

You stop them by starting a qb that so far has looked like he can't make the necessary throws. You guys should be handing it to the best rb in the league on every play.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

So he can fumble every 10th carry

I don't know.  I thought the way Bill handled the interview was professional as always, and I respect that.  I don't expect or want him to come out and tear into Randy through the media after the fact.

The Patriots have definitely amassed a ton of picks for this upcoming draft, though.  I wonder what they're thinking.

So the more that I read players statements from the Pats and BB's statement the more I think there really wasnt a personality issue with Randy.  I think this really was more of a contract situation with BB, and while i don't agree with it i can live with it, because he obviously knows more about the game and the business of the game than most people.

Even though they got a first rounder in the seymour trade, this one doesnt bother me nearly as much.  When i looked at the seymour trade i said, man a first rounder for a guy in the last year of his contract is pretty unheard of.  But we had nobody on the team that could fill his spot.  And that culminated in the playoff loss against Baltimore where we got ran over repeatedly.  While a pass rush may have been lacking, nobody ran on the line of Warren, Wilfork, and Seymour.  Im not sure we will ever see a front 3 in a 3-4 defense better than that group.

When I look at the Moss deal even though the third rounder isn't what i was hoping for we still have a ton of weapons on this offense.  We still Hernandez, Edelman, Welker, Tate, Price, Gronk.  Which i would say even without randy Moss is far better than the core of Caldwell and Gaffney that got us to the AFC Championship game in 06.

I disagree, I have been very happy with the Pats organization not trying to denigrate Randy in any way following the trade.  It strikes me as all very professionally done.  Kudos to Randy as well for saying the right things following the trade.

I still think there were some locker room issues, and/or issues with Randy wanting to be traded if not resigned to a new contract, and that BB anticipated things would only get more out of hand as the season progressed, so made the decision to trade Randy sooner rather than later, to give the Pats time to recover from the loss.  Other than at the start of the season, what better time than the start of the bye week?  But that's all just me trying to justify what BB/Krafts might have been thinking.  I still think the trade stinks.
Celtics fan for life.

I wanna throw up.  This guy has put up unprecedented numbers since joining the pats.  Unless we get some defensive re-enforcements that will make an immediate impact im very nervous.

I have to say I think 0 rings, a bunch of headaches, and no catches last week might be fairly precedented with Randy.

He put together the best season ever by a wide receiver...

This is just dumb.  >:(

Vrabel all over again... at least we got something for Seymour. A third round pick for a 7 time pro bowler who has not dropped of significantly is trash!

What do you mean he hasn't dropped off significantly? When was the last time you were like "Wow. That Randy Moss. Nobody can do that. That's amazing. We definitely don't win this one without him."

I haven't said that in years. I've been more impressed with Danny Woodhead lately.

Yup. And Dan Marino put together probably the best season by a QB.

But you didn't say that 2nd part did you? And you didn't say it in the playoffs last year. And you didn't say it against Miami.

I said that in Miami about Pat Chung.

So does that mean Chung is better than Tom Brady.  Because we didnt say the second part about Brady in the playoffs last year or in the Miami game.
