Wow, Von Wafer, just... wow.
(shakes head)
he didn't do himself any favors this game that's for sure.

Gd game! W/o fts they would have like 30pts... shameful!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Huh? Daniels was actually pretty impressive, I thought. Quietly impressive.

I was dissapointed by Luke Harangody & Von Wafer.

Overall it was nice to see the C's play again!

Shaq looked good out there, not gonna have an issue just rooting for him and note the Celtics as a team!

good stuff:
* starters looked good.  Ray and PP had their offense going, Shaq was actually running the floor and KG was looking really good on D.
* Nate was active and looking like a solid sparkplug off the bench.
* Erden looked like he'll be a contributor.  if not much this year, definitely by next year.
* Delonte looked really solid all around
* Lasme looks like he could beat out Wafer for the 15th spot

OK
* BBD had good energy but he's still not an answer in the post on O
* Mario West looked ok but he was outplayed by Lasme

Not as good as hoped
* Daniels just didn't contribute as much as I had hoped.  hopefully he'll do better as the preseason goes
* Wafer didn't look particularly good
* Luke hustled but needs to do much better to make sure he makes the team.  He's no guarantee after tonight.

Note

1. Erden played a solid game. He has some Scott Pollard in his game.

2. Delonte West is a man without a position. He should not play pg. 2 minute left in the game and he was either being pure selfish or didn't know how to pass

3. Harangody had a bad game. Lets see if he can adjust by the third game. He was signed to a minor deal and could be cut if he keeps playing like tonight.

4. Wafer and Lasme have impressed me. Wafer didn't do much actually but he made several good passes on the offensive end. And played good D. He looks like he is trying to get used to the game again and playing on the Celtics team. Lasme is a real suprise. Is he the twin brother of Brandon Wallace? Identical look and style of game.

5.Mario west won't make the team. Very little to offer. Looks like a basketball player but can't play

6. Want to see Bradley strut his stuff soon.

7. Shaq and BBD look like they ate less burgers and worked out harder. Great job

Based on tonight's game , my lineup would be start of the season

Shaq - Erden
KG - Oneil - Lasme
Pierce - Daniels - Wafer
R. Allen - Wafer - Daniels
Rondo - Robinson - Bradley

On the bubble, Harangody, West

So, quick wrap up..

Marquis looked good. Most of his offense was created by Nate, but he really pulled his vintage game where he snakes to the basket for easy lay-ups. Loved it, its exactly what we need.

KG looked pretty fluid out there. Shots weren't falling, but they weren't for anyone out there tonight.

Erden was ridiculous out there.. I had no idea he had it in him. Exact same for Lasme. Pulling out 11 points in quick work. I'm hoping this kid gets some sort of shot. It never hurts to have the extra length.

Only bad thing out there was Wafer.. I was pretty let down by him. That tech at the end was embarrassing.

All in all, good game. Glad to finally be chatting with ya'll during the games again. Feels great after this long off-season.

I think Semih contributes this year and Luke spends some time up in Portland.

I see Lasme taking BBD's spot....BBD will play harder...he usually did when he got competition for playing time from sheldon...Lasme is better than BBD....i see his talent, jumping ability, roll to the hole, free throw shooting...BUT, it is pre season with scrub comp.....BBD better work hard though.....doc likes bbd...lasme will have a hard time getting play time...even if he is better than bbd..
