The Heat pulled within 4 but Big Baby once again stepped up in a big moment. He stepped in to force a charge and scored consecutive buckets down low and effectively shifted the momentum Boston's way.
Same ol...Once again, BCD(Big Collapse Davis) came into the game, we lost the huge lead...again, and he is credited with good play without any acknowledgment that the score was 55-40 before he got in. Rondo was sitting at 14 assists for a while, the offense looked horrible again. This is my problem with Baby, why are the other 4 struggling with him in there? And why is Doc still watching this rotation lose leads? I understand hack a Shaq didn't help, but not as much as the usual BCD effect. The strength of Heat's run was with him on the floor.
Rivers showed his faith in Davis, playing him for all but 33 seconds of the fourth quarter, when LeBron James reprised his Cavs' role as One Man Wrecking Crew and nearly stole the game.
Coincidence, nope. If you want me to give him credit for his effort when the score got close, sorry, because I was fuming watching this overplayed usual occurrence. Gee, why not play him the whole 4th, probably because Doc wanted to actually win. Hanna, Wilbon and the Jerk thought Doc should of used Shaq a bit more.
"Right now, he's the fifth guy because he knows a lot of our stuff. JO [Jermaine O'Neal] and Shaq will get theirs [minutes], but we've got to make sure we milk Baby until then."
This is exactly why we don't enjoy comfortable leads anymore. BCD is the wrecking ball that hits the lead and everything the starting 4 built. I hope I don't ever see this rotation ever again against an elite opponent. It will just come back to bite us...AGAIN!
