Milwaukee,

Don't you wish you still had Prince and Ray? ;)
LOL. I told IP last night that he might regret the Amare trade but if Rondo hadn't made the Prince for Maggette trade, this would have been a sweep for Milwaukee.
They wouldn't sweep the Bulls, but they'd beat them I think.

Prince makes LeBron's numbers drop across the board. I still think I'd win because Milwaukee doesn't have the tools to defend LeBron in the post, but it would be a much closer contest. If he had Ray Allen + Prince there I'd be even more worried, but for the same reasons I'd still think I'll win.
You mean the big men to defend LeBron?

Because LeBron doesn't go to his post game nearly enough for it to effect a whole series. Though if he committed to it he'd be one of the best post players in the league.

Yeah, but if your team was playing the 1986 Celtics you would be saying your team would win because Larry couldn't guard Lebron so I guess I will take your admission of winning with a grain of salt ;D
Larry couldn't have guarded LeBron, he wouldn't have even tried most of the time. They'd have had DJ on him.

Lol.  I think IP would take his team over the 1986 All-NBA team.

I don't think there's any way Chicago gets by a starting lineup of Gortat-Dirk-Prince-Ray-Kidd.  Six games, tops.

I'm not sure if you're familiar, Nick ;D, but Robert Parish, Kevin McHale, and Larry Bird we're too bad on the defensive end. LeBron is good, but he's not good enough to beat the best Celtics team of all time.

By defend I meant keep LeBron from getting to the cup without fouling him.

Agree to disagree. Kind of moot point anyways, but I still like Chicago there, if only because Dirk needs a better defender next to him, and LeBron has already proved he can beat a team that throws Prince at him in the playoffs, and that team still had a effective Wallace-squared combo in the paint.

Side note: You know who is the perfect partner in the paint next to Dirk? Marcus Camby. Very good help defender/shotblocker, one of the top 3 rebounders in the league, can finish if given the chance.

It would have been an interesting argument.  I mean, Lebron has proven that he can lose to a team that has Prince guarding him in the playoffs, as well, right?  Also, I think Dirk does have a good defender next to him in Gortat, and Prince would have been a good one at SF.

I guess that's the lesson for next year.  Since people are really buying into this "Lebron is unstoppable" argument, any contender is going to need to have an excellent defending SF to beat a Lebron-led team.

Yeah, but that was when he was 21 or 22. He got better enough in that one year to take Detroit. (I may be off by a year here)

Today's LeBron James led Cavs I don't think loses to the Detroit team that sent him home in the conference finals.

Perhaps.  That Detroit team was pretty darn good, though, and I think Prince and Chauncey are the two guys from that team that have the most left in the tank (with obviously the Wallace brothers being far from what they were, and Hamilton -- in my opinion -- in pretty serious decline).

Well I haven't voted yet. Who else?

Anyone already voted that wants to discuss it that hasn't yet? The only ones I've seen are Who and Otart Srien.

I voted Milwaukee/Phoenix but you already know my feelings about your team.

They were good enough to beat a very underrated Manu Ginobli led team with a solid frontcourt of Scola/Bynum. Can't be too bad :)

This one was close, but I ended up going with Phoenix. Their obscure WWF reference convinced me that StartOrien is a man who knows what he is talking about.
And through it all she offers me protection
A lot of love and affection

And down the waterfall

Da, Da, Da.......

One time offer, for the next hour anyone who votes that was not in the draft, and posts it+explains it gets 20 TP's.

EDIT: Well that really got the vote out, huh? :)

Looks like the value of the TP has gone the way of Lehman Brothers.
