I did that just for giggles too. Turns out I started giggling so hard at my top 7 (Hinrich, Deng, James, Brand, Okafor, Miller, Duhon) that I just started crying...

Add in Kobe and Wade stopper extraordinaire Tony Allen and my guess is Faf could just have suspended the voting and handed over the Jeff Clark Trophy as winner of the CB Draft to the Bulls

Yeah, it would have been hard to vote against that team.  I guess to make IP feel better, Okafor + Brand would be a horribly slow front line, and would clog the lane a bit for James.  With Deng being a poor outside shooter, it would have been even worse.

See?  IP's team would have sucked. ;)

How do people rank these two teams

Milwaukee
Kidd/Jack/
Rip/Cj Miles/Nick Young
Maggette/Barnes/Bogans
Dirk/Wright/S. Williams
Gortat/Turiaf

VS

Indiana
Fisher/Jonny Flynn
Bryant
Pietrus/Korver
Ty Thomas/Maxiell
Gasol/Kristic

I definitely think i have the depth advantage even where he does have backups

I mean i think have the advantage in 3 out of the 5 starters with one going to kobe and Gortat/Gasol being a draw

I think Gasol is clearly better than Gortat, but the difference between your 3 advantages is far wider than the difference in his 2.

Gasol is clearly better offensively and Gortat is clearly better defensively.  When you have dirk playing the PF, I would rather have the Defender at C

You really underrate Gasol's D, but that's probably because you haven't watched 130+ Grizzlies games the past two years. And No, I don't want to talk about it.

True I probably havent watch 130 grizzlies games.
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

Especially without Roy playing, who would have dogged the Okafor Brand combo for a week and a half.
Roy would have done that anyway. ;)

Seriously though, I think Roy is a believer that Brand still has something in the tank.

He HAS to though right?

He was one of my favorite players. Who loses it overnight like that? Are achilles injures career ending?

I guess I can remember Pat Ewing being slowed by an achilles, but that was really late in his career. Brand never really relied on hops though. It is a mystery to me.

I'd contend that the Pacific is the best division in the league:

I agree it's the best division. I created the pacific division teams in 2k10 with the rookies downloaded. The ratings for the downloaded rookies are kinda high i would say. So take the higher rookie ratings into effect when looking at these team rankings.

LAL: overall 85, offense 85, defense 84(no rookies)
PHX: overall 89, offense 89, defense 86(3 rookies)
SAC: overall 82, offense 90, defense 79(no rookies)
LAC: overall 83, offense 72, defense 89(no rookies)
GSW: overall 86, offense 85, defense 83(3 rookies)

The rookies increse GSW and PHX rating by a few points so i would lower their overall by 3 points to get these numbers:
LAL: overall 85
PHX: overall 86
SAC: overall 82
LAC: overall 83
GSW: overall 83

I know its 2k10 a video game but its pretty accurate and these teams are all pretty competitive and make it a really hard division.
Pick 2 Heat:
Pg: Jennings/Vasquez
Sg: Wade/R. Allen/Rivers
SF: Lebron/M. Williams
PF: Bosh/Humphries
C: B. Lopez/Dalembert/Anthony

I wouldn't worry about fighting that though. I'd worry about how you're going to stop Kobe.

What? Who said Tony Allen?

You think I want that Jeckyl and Hyde guy on my team? Indiana just HAD to play in my division, and just HAD to choose Kobe.

So I HAD to choose Tony Allen. If Kobe were athletes foot, Tony Allen would be Tough Actin Tinactin.

Shhh.....don't get him started. After I made "The Trade" Roy disparaged the trade in 3 completely different threads, as well as one private message. He's been the Skip Bayless to my Sports since 2008.

No way is Sacramento the worst team in that division.    8)

trust me im worried about Kobe, but he better be worried about Rip, Maggette, and Dirk.  Dirk would eat that team for breakfast lunch and dinner

I think Rip, Maggette, he shouldn't worry about. Rip hasn't been the same player since he was injured (could be a moral thing, who knows), and Pietrus should be able to contain Maggette.

Dirk on Ty Thomas though is going to be rough.

I've already began wondering what I'm going to do about 'Ze German'.

To be fair, I've logged about 902 hours of Xbox in the last year, and 900 of it has been playing 2k. T-Will is ridiculous in that game.
