1. Milwaukee 55 Wins
2. Chicago 52 Wins
3. Indiana 45 Wins
4. cleveland 35 Wins
5. Detroit 28 Wins

Wow, so you don't find the Central to be a very strong division then, averaging only 43 wins.  You realize they don't only play eachother, right?  I think the Central is unquestionably one of the strongest 4 divisions and possibly the strongest.

Didn't you say you had conceded to your team finishing 2nd?? 

And, wow, 10 wins ahead of my Pacers?  No modesty there, I see.  So your team is better than my Pacers to a higher degree than Cleveland is over Detroit? ? ?

everyone wants to rank their team higher. personally unless noah misses +10 games, chicago doesn't fall to second....and that's just history talking.

I don't know if anybody has noticed, but I have tried really hard to be objective, conservative, and humble when projecting and ranking my own team.  I even put my team in 3rd place behind Milwaukee who some people said I'd battle it out with.

I should repeat, I have never once been the one to say that Gasol will average 20 ppg, nor 18 ppg.  I did say 16-20 ppg, which I still find to be totally fair considering he averaged 14.6 ppg on only 9.4 fga per game in Memphis last season and as the #2 option on offense in Indiana, he should be attempting minimum 12-13 fga this season.  Looking at his per48 min stats last season, if he had attempted 12.7 fga at his rate last season, he would have averaged 19.6 ppg.  I know that he will command more attention, but just sayin....

I think we all appreciate objectivity.  The thing is, most GMs want to finish first, so they don't want to undercut their chances by admitting that other teams are better.  You deserve credit for admitting to faults.

lebron takes the regular season. in the last 4 seasons the worst he's finished was with the 4th seed, and that was the year boston won 60 plus games. lebron has had the top seed two years running.

there is no way lebron loses the division. not as long as my squad is relatively healthy.

History of what?

Lebron has been in the league 7 years, He's finished 1st in his division twice. The last two years. And as I said, his teams the last two years had much, much better supporting casts around him than you have around him with the Bulls.

If you want to quote history, history shows Lebron has more experience coming in 2nd in his division than he does 1st.

Like nick, I don't get the history argument.  Kobe has finished first in his conference three years in a row.  Wouldn't that history trump Lebron's?

I dont think its that hard to believe.  Dirk and Kobe are both superstars no arguments there.  Maggette and Gasol are our second best players.  Id say thats a wash and possibly leaning towards Maggette. (This next year, obviously gasol has a much higher ceiling)  

Kidd was 5th in the league in assists last year only behind, Nash, Paul, Rondo, and Deron Williams.  so he is still a top flight PG.  as compared to whom on your team, Pietrus?  Who didnt start ahead of my back up SF? Thomas? Who has the tools defensively but is a deficient offensive player? or Fisher who was underwhelming during the regular season.  

And while Rip had one of his worst shooting years he still manged 18ppg and 4.4 assists.  And Gortat while not a scorer is a very good rebounder and defender.  I would probably equate Gortat to Thomas in our matchup.  

And I think there is no question whose bench is superior.

Also doesnt bode well that your two main ball handlers, Kobe and Flynn were in the top 10 in the NBA last year in TO's
