And since most know how I feel about rebounding and how that correlates to winning, now you know why I think it was such a ridiculously lopsided trade in favor of Sactown.

So you would want the celtics to trade kevin Garnett(15.1) for Dajuan Blair(20.6) because he has a better rebounding rate?

Oh yeah because that's exactly what I said in that statement and that's a perfect correlation between the players we are discussing the the players you are bringing up.

There has been a three team trade:

SAC trades:  Andrea Bargnani, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Ryan Hollins, Tyler Hansborough
SAC receives:  Eric Dampier, Zach Randolph, Drew Gooden

LAL trades: Jeff Green, Drew Gooden, David Anderson
LAL receives: Andrea Bargnani, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Ryan Hollins 

PHI trades:  Zach Randolph, Eric Dampier
PHI receives:  Jeff Green, Tyler Hansborough, David Anderson

Roy must have quite a collection of incriminating photographs. How else can he get so much for so little (relatively)?

Not a great return for Philly, although Randolph's future in the league is dicey (pending felony marijuana case?).

Not too bad for LA. Giving up Green and filler to get three 7-footers to match up against Utah. Granted, Bargs is a poor rebounder for his height, but he has a bit of a nasty streak, and does bring outside shooting. Z is another offensive-minded big, and Hollins is a dirty player who can give 6 hard fouls a night.

I find rebounding rate to be one of the best ways to judge rebounders.

Hollins was too dirty for the lakers and got dropped in favor of the veteran Tony Battie earlier today.

I'm not trying to make you look bad; I just don't think it makes sense to put words into nick's mouth (or any other GM's mouth), because that's going to lead to ruffled feathers.

Also, all I've done is defend you for making the trade.  I don't think Bargnani is a scrub at all, although his rebounding and defense are legit issues.
