Add LAL disappoints me in this. They clearly were getting great value out of their last few trades and then gave it all back on this one.
Let me explain:
Andrea Bargnani for Jeff Green.
i had like 4 guys that were tweaners at 6'9"...i had a problem with height(as people suggested) and only 1 center...bargnani 7' can play C and PF spreads the floor great shooter with 3 point range...(hes going to put up big numbers in Toronto this year with no bosh and
turkeyglue)..Pus i needed a legit 3rd scoring option for Roy and Curry...Chandler and Prince are more defensive players in my mind...Bargnani was the number 1 overall pick he is still young and with coach K, i think hes a good fit for the Lakers.
Gooden for Ilgauskas
again this was a trade for height. to me this trade is even. Both are good rebounders...but i think ilgauskas's height 7'3" and great shooting would be perfect for my bench....plus gooden has been bouncing around the nba from teams so im not a big fan of gooden...i have to face dwight howard in my division so having three 7 footers is good for me.
PS: Philly was the one who made a bad trade, i don't understand it for Philly. Clearly some people love to get their favorite players and don't mind being less competitive as long as they're happy with their team.
