Phoenix Sends:

Protege spokemen Al Harrington

Lakers Sends:

Terrence Williams

Phoenix - addition by subtraction. I like it.

It was a long journey to get Terrence Williams, but I finally did it. Selected outlaw after he was picked in front of me, traded for harrington, traded for terrence williams

I think Al takes a bad wrap on this board, he's still a great talent out there. Especially for a good change of pace off the bench. Though with Jamison on the squad, I didn't really have a need for him.
I thought Travis Outlaw offered your team the most.

I would play Dominique Jones ahead of Terrence Williams for the immediate future. Williams is an intriguing long term prospect but he has a lot of flaws to work through on the short term.

Oh, you have no backup point guard ... use Terrence Williams there.

---------------------------------------------------

Not in the fantasy game, back to reality, I want to see more of him at the point to see if he can play there full-time. One of things I was most disappointed in during draft day a year ago was that Williams was going to a team with an established point guard in Devin Harris + one of the most disappointing things this summer was the Nets signing Jordan Farmer. Not enough opportunity.

Williams interests me a great deal as a point guard. I'm not sure whether he can make it there or not ... but I'd love to see him get a real opportunity at the position before writing him off.

I think technically, and the commishes can correct me if I am wrong, you can only select on free agent per day. So Ohio's pick of Gerald Henderson is his pick for today and Gomesfan's pick of Antoine Wright is his pick today and any further picks have to wait until tomorrow, that is as long as you have 12 or less players.
You are correct nick.

The Cleveland Cavs Select:

Antoine Wright And Larry Hughes
As this is your FA move you'll have to choose one.
These are the two picks I missed today,,,, I assume Crownsy did not make it to draft for me today? I sent him out an email this morning but he did not reply!
The draft is over, you missed those picks so they're gone I'm afraid! Antoine Wright is yours as a FA though.

Tomorrow you can pick up another FA to fill out your roster.

Is there a updated player list I can go by to fill out my roster?

With the 28th pick in the 13th round, the Indiana Pacers select Rafer Alston

Very capable backup pg has even shown he can step into a starting role in playoffs and be serviceable.

I think that pick counts as your free agent selection for today, rather than a draft pick, according to Faf's announcement.  (Assuming you had 12 or fewer players, no problem with signing one FA per day.)

BTW, I just want to say that earlier I stated I thought it a bad idea for the league controlling the Kings to be making trades. While I think the decision to allow that is still up for debate and should be looked at after the season, I commend Roy for making trades that were fair and balanced and helped to keep the Kings viable while not unduly either ripping anyone off or sell off parts of the Kings.

Excellent job Roy. My decision to be against that was a bad one, in retrospect, though I think for future drafts, it should be looked at though maybe a contraction of teams will rectify such situations.

TPs to the commishes

Yeah, my only goal in that was to keep the league with 30 viable franchises.  The former owner of the Kings left his team, and it wasn't necessarily fair to the competitive balance of the league to have one "ghost" franchise.

I understand the potential concerns, but I think I tried to do everything above-board.

After the conclusion of the draft, we can talk about all the things that need to be done to make the draft better next year.  We can discuss the veto, and yes, I'm sure contraction will come up.

Wait, I'm currently at 11 players because two of my guys are overseas...

Can I pick again today or twice tomorrow? We want this wrapped up by tomorrow correct?

So what about CFF's team?

Doesn't he have like 5-6 picks to make?

What's happening with Dallas?

looking to mov JR Smith and Outlaw...Will considering moving everyone else not name bogut or Rondo on my team.

PM me ofers!!

Quote from: ESPN
Sam Amick of FanHouse reported Wednesday night that Denver guard J.R. Smith was involved in an altercation at the team's practice facility on Aug. 13.

"We did have a report of an altercation that took place at the Denver Nuggets' practice facility," said Detective John White of the Denver Police Department Wednesday. "That case was investigated and ultimately presented to the district attorney's office. ... Ultimately, the district attorney's office, after being presented with the findings by the Denver Police Department, decided not to pursue charges.

"We were called to that location about an incident possibly involving Mr. Smith. When we got there, the officers conducted their investigation. It did involve Mr. Smith."

Reportedly a player, not in the NBA, was told by Nuggets coaches to be rough with Smith during some drills.

"They were just wanting the guy to be physical with J.R., telling the other guys, 'Hey, body up on the guys and really make them work,' " a source told Amick. "J.R. just lost it. He tried to choke the kid, and the kid called the cops."

The Nuggets are shopping Smith and this likely won't help them find a taker for the troubled guard.

JR Smith is like the Lehman Brothers of this draft...he just keeps on dropping.

yea thanks IP for making it impossible to get rid of Smith now
