Comparable numbers (actually slightly better) to Brandon Bass, taken 2 rounds early. A poor homeless man's Shawn MarionJames Singleton is a nice addition. I would play him ahead of Drew Gooden.Singleton + Duncan/Darko would be a very effective defensive pairing. I used to like Singleton, but he was terrible last year. Forwards who shoot 38% from the field don't last very long in the league.I'd definitely prefer Gooden. He's a much better rebounder and scorer. I don't think Singleton's defense is so good as to make up that offensive difference. I'd consider Singleton's defense to be pretty average, maybe a slight tick above. (Gooden's, of course, is below average.)Agree that Gooden > Singleton.I've always thought that Singleton was cut from a similar cloth as Brandon Bass, Leon Powe, J.Maxiell, etc.... slightly undersized bigs who play bigger than their 6-8 frame, pure energy, grit guys off the bench who get most of their points mostly on hustle, put backs, etc.he's the least offensively accomplished of that 4some, but even with Powe in reb/min; the leader in steals, blocks and commits fewer turnovers (all based on per/min)...Powe/Maxiell/Singleton/BassIn the 12th round we think it's a solid, if unspectacular get

PHI trades: 12.25SAC trades: cash considerationsWith the 25th pick in the 12th round, the Sacramento Kings select Jeff Teague, projected to be the starting point guard for the "real life" Atlanta Hawks.

Guess who topped that list?Sacramento has a pretty good autopilot.
That said, latest is that Mike Bibby will go in to training camp as the presumptive starter.

Teague technically has to "compete" for the starting gig, but I don't think the competition will be that fierce.
I know it was asked but I didn't see it answeredIs there a free agency period when the draft ends
With the 26th pick of the 12th round, the OKC Thundah select Gordon Hayward
