The Minnesota Timberwolves select their binkie Rodrigue Beaubois,
who next season will cement his status as the best french player in the NBA.

If anyone has any questions about the pick please let me know and I will answer them.
Are you going to start him? If so, does Deron defend opposing shooting guards?

How many minutes does he get with Deron Williams already on the team?

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
The Magic select

Andrei Kirilenko

and

Vince Carter
I had Kirilenko ranked as the top player on the board for quite awhile now. He is a very nice pickup.

Vince Carter is a very good addition alongside Joe Johnson. I like those two as a combination. They'll provide great flexibility / lineup choices on the perimeter. You'll be able to create a lot of mismatches there.

I like the idea of Johnson/Carter/Kirilenko at the 2/3/4 with either Aldridge (scoring) or Biedrins (interior banging/defense) at the 5 depending on matchups. It would be fun to watch, at least, and it leads me to believe that the defense would be sufficient since Biedrins/Kirilenko don't mind getting dirty and are solid help defenders. Could be a very frenetic offense/defense combo there.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

I wonder if you could conceivably go for short spells with a backcourt of JJ and Vince.

Both can put the ball on the deck.

Kirilenko is the best pick of the round.

Vince Carter is also clearly an out-sized talent and BPA. But I do wonder if the Magic are concerned that the team's wings offered two of the worst play-off performances of 2010?

His broken foot doesn't concern you?
Nope he broke it in early August and the normal injury time for that break is two to three months. So that brings him back in early October, or November which either has him ready for the season or missing less than a month.

He is going to start at the two like he is going to in Dallas (in the same article about his broken foot it stated that Dallas plans to start him and bring Marion off the bench). He can play the 2 on offense and Williams can play the two on defense. On my second unit he will play the 1. So he is going to play a lot.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I think he's a favorite here, but with his severe injury this is too high.

Need a big man.  The man's the starter on a recent champ and near champ this year if we could have squeezed one more game out of him.

The CrotoPickles will be ready in June.

Admittedly it's not a good thing to look back at that playoff bed-crapping, but so far the team is full of veterans with a combination of playoff experience and hunger. The talent is there, the trouble is just getting over the hump mentally. And Andris Biedrins being healthy and playing in a non-Nellieball system.
