The Atlanta Hawks select Elton Brand

Nice pick.  I think this will be Elton's bounce back year.

Did you just copy and paste the same quote from last season?

Note: I'm putting off my commute home, can I pick soonish?

I think you're supposed to wait until tomorrow.  At least, that's how Faf has been doing things thus far.

Dropped 10 lbs. He was a guy I was targetting

As long as it wasn't on his foot, he should be OK.

You have a fourth round pick right?

Yeah. I sent you a PM already, but the gist is I am gone on a trip thursday/friday, so I won't be able to make the pick tomorrow.

The Walker Wiggle's pick of Tyson Chandler on behalf of the Pacers is rescinded.

He asked me in a PM to be skipped rather than use his list I'll honor that until later tonight.

So Now Milwaukee Looks like

Pg:Jason Kidd
SG:
SF: Tayshaun Prince
PF: Dirk Nowitzki
C: Chris Kaman

Love it

You're shaping up to be a contender for sure. I had one other veteran SF ahead of Prince though.

IP I'll announce your pick after I'm done with BigAlTheFuture and action781's picks, since you'll be gone tomorrow.

Decent. Thanks bud. Then, I'm off.

Announcement:  I'm going to be taking over Big Al's franchise on a limited basis, to try to breathe some life into it.  If anybody has any interest in Josh Smith or Rudy Gay, they're both on the block.  I'm looking for similarly valued players at a position other than SF/PF.

Also, the next pick in the draft (i.e., the last pick to be made in the third round) is available for later picks (I want at least a fourth back, though.)

Welcome Roy! Hopefully it isn't just temporary.

I'm sort of hoping that it is, but I hate to see a franchise wilt away and die.  If any active GMs want to take over for me, I'll gladly pass to them.

I've already received one fairly solid offer for Gay, and an offer for Smith that at least has potential.

I'll be soliciting offers until later tonight, at which point I'm sure Fafnir is going to force me to make a pick.
