  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
The New York Knicks select Greg Oden

Shields are up awaiting flak.

Glad that all worked out. Oden is an interesting pick no doubt, and Westbrook would have been the guy I was taking. You win this round, GC.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Greg Oden was a good pick. Last dominant center on the board.

Denver Nuggets select

Russell Westbrook, PG
This pick is going to be on hold for a moment.

With NYK off the board, my original pick stands -- DEN takes
Russell Westbrook, PG.

Hard to pass up a 21 y.o. PG who averaged more assts than Derrick Rose, more rebounds than Dwayne Wade.

The Denver Nuggetz also love guys who step up their games when it matters -- like Westbrook did in the playoffs vs. the Lakers (20/6/6)
When the commish puts something on hold, you don't get to declare it back on.

Greg Oden is a great pick if he can put together a healthy season. Already a game changer. Still improving.

Why? GMs should work out a trade ahead of time or pick the guy the receiving GM wants  >:(

Ohio Celts fan wants Scalabrine i heard anyways
In this case I was typing up the trade PM which I recieved well in time. I don't want the speed with which I can post to be the issue between a GM getting a player they want or don't want.

In the future any GM who is trading for a pick that is on the clock needs to include whom they are trading for in the confirmation PM. Additionally when a GM announces a trade has been sent the the Commish, the Commish is going to need time to announce it. Allow me to post something before making your pick.

We have a trade!:

The Magic trade: 2-10
The Knicks trade: 2-26, 4-22, and TP/Gif considerations.

Make the pick Ohio Celtic Fan!

Wow great trade for Magic
Ridiculously good trade for the Magic. a 6 slot move in the first yesterday was a slight upgrade from the 7th to 6th

Today a 15 spot move in the middle of the second equates to a starting caliber player?

In this case you're correct, but if I'm putting the draft on hold I don't want people restarting it.

In the future if I don't recieve a player to be picked with a pick that's on the clock you run the risk of someone doing what Gainsville did (within his rights) and taking your target at xx:01 if you're cutting it close.
